It is!! I heard it a couple of times and you can tell the exact moment he breathes in to sing that high note... The second time was very slightly off key but by the third one it was perfectly pitched and could actually pull that long phrase with more ease and power.... Of course sound engineers will put some reverb and what not to make it sound even better but he was really singing.

you just can't beat those harmonies. gives me goosebumps because of their story. my son started singing from listening to Robbie. one day in a bar in Spain aged 5 he suddenly appeared on stage with a mic and sang angels much to our surprise. he now has an amazing voice. just made this have a deeper meaning for me. something I honestly never thought I would see!

When TT hit it big, I was a 14 year old boy in England. I thought their music was horrific. I was really into GnR, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam etc etc. Still am, with a lot more classic rock to boot. Yet I watched this from start to finish with chills and goosebumps throughout. I’ve watched it about 6 times before writing this. I’ll just watch it once more for good measure. Never heard this song before, absolutely loved it!!!

I just found this amazing group via KZbin, and I’m in my 60s! They are better than ANY “ boy band” we ever had here in America ! Of course, I’m a fan of early 80s music, and most of my favorite artists were all from the U.K. even then. I’m glad Robbie sang with the band again; he has the best and most powerful voice of the group, not to take Gary Barlow, who is also a fine singer.

I mean I personally am a very big fan of Gary, but Gary himself said that back then he really wasn't the nicest person. Now back to Robbie: The point is, everything he said he said in a way that it got really bad for Gary until everyone, everywhere, at any time began telling Jokes about Gary especially when he was around. Gary became a national joke for years, it even got so bad that he didn't leave the house for about a year until he had put on so much weight that nobody recognised him anymore.
