state govt should also give some additional subsidy or tie up with some company to install across the state at cheaper cost.

@chaitanyavinay101 that's why it should conduct a survey to find the people who are interested in putting solar panels on their rooftop. If they select vendors individually the cost will be higher. Instead the govt then approach all the companies and say that we have 20 lakh customers and they want to set up solar panels how much is the cost ? They will definitely reduce cost by upto 20-30%. The govt will notify the price and then more people will be applying for it bcz its affordable now. Say if its 50-55k per kw. And subsidy is 30k. They can pay full money or the govt should help them to get a loan from the banks tied up to this scheme. If the govt co ordinates everything effectively, 30 lakh solar roof tops can be achieved very quickly without spending a single rupee.
