Sorry, you said G2 didn't do "so hot" at worlds 2018? They defeated RNG (the tournament favorites) and ended their golden road in the process, RNG won spring, MSI, summer and were touted as the heavy favs going into worlds, just to lose to Europes third seed. There is no way G2 2024 is better than 2019 as of yet. G2 were assumed to be the best team attending Worlds 2019 and it was kinda true. They crushed everyone until the finals: 1-1 with Griffin, 2-0 C9, 3-1 DK, 3-1 T1. Still can't comprehend how they lost this finals, they were better than FPX at everything but they just didn't connect to the server this day. Caps is still Caps though. If Caps gets on his peak again, G2 can get to semis but there's no way you are reaching finals with Yike. Yike is pulling them all down, he is just bad. This exact team with Jankos would be golden, with Yike - barely semifinals potential.

In 2020 i placed a 20usd bet on bet365 of G2 winning worlds the return was high, when they made it to finals, I knew I had an eye, sad that it ended like that, but I only place my eye where I care, like IG I emotionally cared about that roster and now with G2, last year I thought they could win worlds, but they were good only at early-mid game, this year they're more solid and i think they'll go to semis or Finals if they figure out the patch fast and find unique picks that work, that's their formula. Also, I've comments on Onivia channel saying that Zeka is the next big thing, better than Faker and Chovy, before Worlds 2022. I know I'm just a random, but I've the eye, trust me mfs

Very interesting video! I think it's impossible to compare G2 2019 and G2 right now. People think G2 2019 is better - but why? In 2019 the asian teams were worse than they are right now. And still G2 today can compete - it would be interesting how they perform against Gen G or BLG, but they had an extremely insane close series against T1 and they gigastomped TES. It IS possible to also beat Gen G and BLG. Caps is performing insanely good this year, you could argue that this is his best performance ever. Mikyx is absolutely insane and if he stops his inting he is one of the best. Hans Sama pulls bans because NOBODY wants to play against his Draven and his Kalista and on his peak he doesn't lose even against the best ADCs. BB can compete with the best top laners, although people don't want to give him credit. And Yike seems to be completely underrated or rather: he doesn't get the credits he deserves. "He Is OnLy GoOD bEcAusE hE iS On G2" - No, you don't want G2 games then. Yike had MANY 1 vs 9 performances and he can carry games. He is the best mechanically jungler in EU and is the best carry player. That doesn't even need to be discussed. If he would be consistent he would undeniably be the best jungler in EU. Hot take: If Yike performs on his peak he is gonna be the best player on G2 this worlds and he is one of the reasons G2 gets far.

No, tbh its somewhat clickbait. I was considering a title talking about how this G2 2024 line up is better than and has better odds to win Worlds than G2 2019, but 1. I've used that title and thumbnail idea before in a previous video and 2. I thought this would be more captivating. I am sorry if you feel clickbaited, its something I have to do especially as a smaller KZbinr to stand out. I don't think this is our last chance EVER but I worry if they dont do well at this tournament they will make changes and I honestly cannot think of changes to make this G2 line up better. I think Elyoya > Yike or Upset/Carzzy > Hans but I have big counter arguments for those so I kinda feel like this will be the best shot for a few years UNLESS all of EU improve which will also take a few years in my opinion. I think that G2 is as good as some of the best eastern teams, but I don't think they are better than the best like G2, BLG and HLE. I def think they will get out of groups, but I don't think I would bet on them to win

I completely respect your opinion. I do still believe, not just delusionally, but if you look at Worlds Runs like DRX or T1, or even EDG in 2021, these were all underdogs who ramped up during Worlds and won everything. I am not saying G2 is definitively better than Gen G or BLG (I think HLE is a little overhyped at the moment, I think they are going to struggle in the knockout phase more than people expect) but I think they can contend with them and could upset them with like a 35-40% chance. I know for some even thats too high but idk man I love G2 and I think they are underrated Thank you for your comment, especially a respect one, sometimes when people disagree it can get ugly in the comments but yours is 100% appreciated :) I hope you enjoyed above all else and are excited to see the videos I make in the future!

The copium in this video is through the roof, and it feels like you're being misleading with some of your information at times to build a better narrative. For example, suggesting that Miky and Hans could be a potential downgrade from Flakked and Targamas is crazy to me. I do realize, or at least I think you meant it in terms of potential, but I still believe I would take Miky + Hans over Targamas + Flakked any day. Yes, Hans had a rough year in NA, but we've seen time and time again that imports often go to NA and drop significantly in their level of play. And Miky, on paper, had a rough year on XL, but like... he was playing on XL. He played as well as he could on that team and was part of the org's first-ever advancement beyond the regular split. With that being said, this is the most optimistic I've been about G2 in years, and I definitely think they will go far!

Hey, no offense taken, I appreciate the comment :) I do not mean to mislead especially in that Hans/Miky over Flakked/Targa part. At the time that was sincerely how I felt because I did always feel like Hans was overhyped and as we've seen with players like Perkz and others, when they go to NA and then come back, its a coinflip if they will be able to compete in EU still or just completely fall off. So I thought ESPECIALLY since Hans had a bad year in NA, meanwhile Perkz had a decent and on paper successful year in NA, I thought Hans was DOOMED and Miky would get flamed in 2020 and 2021 even as an inter (at least in EU's most toxic moments) and after the XL year, I felt that he might have been either overrated or lost a step. I also will say, at that time I knew less than I do now, so I was moreso trying to be transparent about how much my opinion has changed over the years. With all that said, I worry this came across as defensive and I dont mean it to. I really liked your comment and love talking even more in depth in these comments :) I am also insanely optimistic as you can probably tell about G2 this year, and I am glad to hear you are too! And finally, hope you enjoyed the video and look forward to future projects !
