You can see the duration of the religious zeal modifier by clicking in a province and looking at those small square icons that are exactly to the left from the open book icon that allows you to see the province institution spread. Those are the province modifiers, the icon with the missionary is the modifier you are looking for.

This is the kind of EU4 content I've been sorely missing on KZbin! Long form but still edited videos, full campaign, a lot of information, high efficiency gameplay by an experienced player, clear speech with a pleasant voice that doesn't get exhausting. About the only other person on KZbin that matches most of these points is Budget Monk with his live stream vods, but those aren't edited (they're 2-4 hours long twitch vods)... I am so glad I came across your channel cause these videos are exactly what I've been missing as far as EU4 stuff goes! Watching good players gives me so many ideas for my campaigns! That's one thing I love about EU4: there's always something new I learn! Be that a mechanic I didn't know exists, an exploit, a new strategy, a new approach to playing the game. That Pirate Gotland WC for example was wild! I never considered creating a whole early game strategy around an event like that Curia Treasury thing! This video makes me seriously consider giving the Teutonic Horde another try and maybe finally getting the achievements- 2,5k hours in this game and still haven't done a full Ironman game... Love the videos! Keep doing what you're doing cause it's seriously good stuff! 😁

19:07 when you click on province that you can raze you can use 'z' shortcut so you dont need to click the button perhaps that can speed up the proced of razing, and i have noticed with you and several other youtubers that you open country diplomacy by clicking on their province and than you click on diplomacy, you can just right click on somebody and it will open up the diplomacy window, and my question is you didnt know about the right click or you just got used to do it by the first method i described ?

To trigger Court and Country, I no CB a few American natives that can't get to me. Easy way to increase war exhaustion and reduce stability. Out of curiosity, would building extra forts to prevent rebels from adding separatism be a sound strategy?

This seems a good strategy, if you don’t want to add a “real” war to all those event-related rebels. Building forts should definitely help as it slows down the rebel progress. I didn’t bother since I was on track…

Hi, yep - a strong fleet is a must there. I think I had 2 fleets with at least 80 heavies in each, plus some galleys. I used one to block the straights, and the one one to ferry my troops around.

This is very true. When I did it on 1.34, I had 27,200 development to convert, although I didn’t systematically destroy development. In 1.35 I had 32,500 to convert, despite concentrating and destroying all the development I could. In my Russia WC (no razing) on 1.35, I had 43,800 which is much more than before.

Yep, it’s possible to release the colonies, move your capital to the New World and conquer them directly. It’d take 20-30 years, potentially, depending on your admin efficiency.

Yep, that’s true. The costs max out, but not the time. I think it still took me 40+ years to culture-convert Derby, even though it was only 30 mana. There are some modifiers to speed it up, but I didn’t have those in this game.

You know, If you feel like torturing yourself in the future while doing another One Faith run, you can always do Fifth Monarchist England. You can get that government by a rare event during the English Civil War, starting a race to own at least 1000 provinces while a ticking time bomb called Fanatic Zeal increases by 1 a month with the only way to slow it down is to win main wars(which means sperate peace deals don't count as winning here). Failure means the game forces a bankruptcy, grants independence to all subjects, and...releases all nations that it possibly can in what could potentially be a grander implosion than even what Ming can do. Well, IF you survive that long, because fanatic zeal also has a scaling +20 national unrest. But it does grant absurd scaling bonuses to war score province cost that might potentially allow you to annex most nations on the map in a single war, insane amounts of manpower recovery, massive amounts of conversion speed. In case you are wondering, the Fifth Monarchists were a obscure sect of English Protestantism that basically believed that the End Times were happening right then and there during the English Civil War. Bastions of Sanity and Stability they very much werent.

Hmm, I actually didn’t know this event existed in the game. This sounds interesting for a potential Anglophile achievement run. Would it trigger if I form the Angevine empire after starting as England?

@@StrategySphere As far as I can tell, its only requires is you have less then 400 provinces, but more than 3, with at some of them being either protestant, reformed, hussite, or anglican while being in the English Civil War Disaster, so you can get it as either an Angevin or UK run. However, it has a MTTH of 600 months. So its rather easy to end up ending the disaster first. And it would not be an easy government to play, as your unrest is going up by 0.2 every month as the scaling unrest increase from Fanatic Zeal goes up. And its a mandatory One faith government because you have -6 tolerance of anyone not true faith. Granted, if you can get to 1000 provinces, you keep the government which if you can handle the unrest basically means you have turbocharged missionaries and manpower to conquer everyone in massive peace deals. After all, whats massive 500% OE unrest compared to the unrest you will have anyways! Especially wheb you also get 75% core creation cost. Its every much a government made in vein of the End of the Cycle from Stellaris, which was a turbo charged boost to everything at the cost of having your entire empire destroyed after 50 years unless it could find a single planet uncolonized to place some survivors.

Hi! I usually prioritise the admin ideas because they save 25% on coring, plus having vassals removes the need to core their lands. Specifically for the Golden Horde, because they can raze provinces, mana is never a problem. I had too much of it and kept spending it on development.

Oh does it? I had no idea! There was a strange bug though - after I formed the Roman Empire in the end, some of my original Prussian provinces became the “wrong” Roman culture, so I would’ve had to convert them again.

Yeah, it’s a new bug. The same happened to be in my Russian run when I formed the new Slavic culture group. My original Muscovite provinces became the “wrong” culture, they even turned red to show as non-accepted. Had to convert them… to Muscovite 😂
