In this video titled EU4 A to Z - Can I WIN As a Nation THAT DIDN'T EVEN EXIST I do a playthrough as East Frisia in Europa Universalis 4 1.33 France. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of East Frisia, and I attempt to dismantle The Holy Roman Empire while also forming The Netherlands. So let's see if I managed to do it! I think, it would be nice to realize Richard the Lionheart's dream and re-establish the Kingdom of Jerusalem as England. Richard the Lionheart became the protagonist of the Third Crusade, but he failed to conquer Jerusalem despite all his efforts.

I actually really appreciate both series; most of the time when I play an EU4 campaign I go all the way to world conquest or at least some massive endgame. Because of that I feel like I have only seen maybe a fiftieth of the formables and cool starting countries in the game, so I really appreciate both series. However, because Nation Formation is a little more loose, you can mix it up. A to Z can sometimes get boring, like if you have to play 6 natives in a row. Also, sometimes A to Z has very modest goals which is fine (and sometimes I wish I had campaigns with more modest goals), while in Nation Formation we get to see some long term campaigns which I also like. I just think both series are really good! Keep up the good work, Hawk!

The speedrun to Nation Formation was awesome. I like the A-Z series but there's some nations I'm just "meh" about whereas seeing how you form a new nation seems like it'd always be interesting because I know that's what I'm generally interested in doing.

I like both A - Z and the new Formable Nations runs. I think A - Z has a repetitive nature but forces you to do some really fun and unique challenges (Like maybe as England become the 13 colonies and then take London?). Formable Nations on the other hand is sort of like a classic "How well do you know the game" style where you need to make sure you do multiple things to get it to work properly (Right tech., right provinces and PUs, right eventy chain, etc.). So I think both are awesome in their own ways so I can't choose!

i have a wierd history with east frisia in EUIV Back when arumba did his shortlived HRE royal rumble games (like 20+ players all 1-2 province minors in the hre) i was stuck as east frisia... a nation that isnt in the HRE at the start.. and i had florryworry to my west as friesland.. Teamed up with him. we won the first war. then died when he decided to condot his army to provence and left me alone to die :( (he had a target on his back the moment the game started. so the moment they saw weakness from him, everyone dogpiled)

Honestly east Frisia was a part of the Lowlands when it was Frisian but now it's just completely German so yea

Frisians or Friesen lived (And generelly still do) at the modern-day Dutch and German North Atlantic coastline (Exept the Region around Hamburg). Saying it's Historical Dutch isn't really Right it's Historical Frisian and they are Germanic, while Frisians themself probably came from Scandinavia. I say that as an East Frisian myself

Enno Edzardisna was a real person but to unknown parents at an unknown location and he died in 1450, 6 years after EU4 would start. Wikipedia has names for his father and his mother but it doesn't cite sources and other sites just put "unknown" so i say nah. For your information

you could rather easily flip your country to monarchy as a single province, piss off the right rebels and surrender to them. you can play as rhodes and surrender to rebels you start with to lose the game day 1 because it's nationalist rebels

I know this series isn't supposed to be hard, just to play (almost) every nation in the game. But I can't help but be bored as of these last episodes. It's getting really repetitive if you get a lesser nation. The plan is always interesting, but the execution is always the same: have a lot of allies, have them help you fight every war, never sweat over anything and just win. There's no real challenge, the only challenge is to improve relations, curry favors, win. I understand that you need to upload these with consistency and doing everything yourself would take a lot more time. I enjoy the idea of what you are doing, I just can't help but feel bored watching these. That said, I'm not trying to demerit you or your videos, just saying my opinion. I don't think I'll be watching your videos any longer. Hope you do well and keep on having fun.
