Accidental stupid wars, like the Granada episode, it is OK to Alt+F4. But sometimes they lead to winnable wars, Red should keep those.

I couldn’t agree more, sure there are some wars that we don’t want to declare that are winnable, but im really glad that he had the sense to realize that were no fan of it. Similar to my lacking in being a fan of brown peeps. As in people. But KZbin would shadow delete the comment if I said that.

I have already informed someone else of this, but if you have a dutch oven then you can basically make bread by doing absolutely nothing other than stirring some flour. The heat shock of a pre-heated dutch oven (which is heated inside a normal oven since it's basically a glorified pot) means that, as long as you leave the bread for 12-24 hours so the bubbles made by the yeast strengthen the gluten, the bread will become light and fluffy while remaining moist due to the sealed environment. It is most convenient and vastly superior to store bread.

No no no no, hear me out - coffee = Mukha = Yemen. Save it for Yemen, else it'll be ignored as blasphemy! Also, it'd just be repeat of this episode since you need to conquer all of Arabia and some of Syria and Iraq to form Arabia. A better goal would probably be to do some colonial shenanigans as AI Hadramut loves to colonize random places in SE Asia.

The province Qawasim is their de jure land and also covers the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Yas is a short-hand name for the Bani Yas tribal coalition, which is the progenitor of the current royal houses of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Abu Dhabi is and Dubai would be in the Bani Yas province in game.

Socotro does start as coptic, in reality it was Nestorian but eu4 devs didn't add Nestorianism for whatever reason, they chose to make it coptic instead, even though it was still prevalent enough that it would be worth giving a couple provinces to at least even if no nations would actually start as it

Ye, gotta be good bread though- there is a very significant difference between standard store stuff and B R E A D. Also you can make bread by doing basically nothing if you have a dutch oven, which is the easiest way to obtain B R E A D.

As a Frenchman, I gotta say that bread is a must in everyday life. It follows you everywhere, for one’s greatest pleasure. However, I have heard that extra european bread isn’t all that great, something that is often explained by the poor quality of ingredients, the monopoly of sugar/industrial bread, the lack of furnace and hand making. One has to live on special day to day basis to produce the bests of breads. So if you can, buy bread in a Boulangerie, because while European bread beats out the rest of the world, French bread is in a league of its own !

I know they don't have unique ideas (the geographical group shares them) but you really should try the african natives around Lake Victoria. You can quickly conquer your neighbours, form a new tag, Kitara, with a ghastly yellow color (think Yellow Prussia from V2) and the entirety of Africa is up for grabs. I'm currently having a fun game where I went Expansion first to try to colonise my way around Africa and just got DOWed by Spain+Portugal. Worth checking out IMO.

The only early change I would suggest would have been fighting Hormuz or Mushasa early before deving up. Hormuz would give you the safest capital province in the entire game, as nobody else is going to have a navy that would allow a straight crossing Edit: Ah nvm, didn't realize its not technically in arabia. Whereas Mushasa has a grassland province that you could have more cheaply dev'd up in.

re working out if Mamelukes were bankrupt/how close they are to bankruptcy easiest way to check number of loans is to go to score comparison in the ledger then mouse over monthly admin score and a nation loses 0.02 points per loan per month and like 10.00(I think) for being bankrupt.
