I really do think mamaluks into rum is still the strongest rum there is. Having the starting position as mams then just stating up the Turk provinces and culture shifting and boom you’ll dominate everything else in about 30 years in both areas.

I'm usually not a huge fan of nations that already start at top 10 GP list, but I've heard about this strategy and I'll play the Mamluks one day. Just really wanted to see and show the Seljuk rename.

@@GolemEnt I do love to do a opm run on a lot of things but if I’m playing seriously then i usually go for the nations that give me the best results the fastest without killing the mid game. I usually still have Spain the pain and giga France to deal with along with Russia since I don’t really go after them until mid game.

Not too familiar with CK but if it's less/no RNG then yes please

@@GolemEnt Basically there is some RNG, but it only cuts down on the time it takes for sieges to finish, so you start with the worst estimate but with better siege leaders/equipment that goes by faster.

Great! I like your videos. It is time to watch this. You know what, I have taken a long break from EU4 after 800 hours and somehow your videos format makes watching EU4 still fun for me. My EU4 break might be long but at least I have your well edited videos. Do you like CK3? I have started playing CK3 and I really like it.

Thanks man! I haven't played CK or even watched a video of it, only seen a glimpse. I tried/i'm trying to get into Victoria 3 with 70~hr on it but it feels like such a long process before i get even decent at the game, so i'm currently not trying out any other games. What do you think is the best aspect of CK compared to EU4?

i will chip in even though you didn't ask me. You will definitely learn ck3 fast as experienced eu4 player, in like 10 20h so that's a plus compared to vic 3. For me the best aspect of the game is interaction with whole feudal system which isn't represented in eu4 and the fact that even if you expand a lot with your current ruler, once he dies there can be a shitshow with succession, so your heir might rule with just a part of it. Ofc, there's also tons of RP stuff which im personally not that into it. @@GolemEnt

@@GolemEnt Crusader Kings 3 has the best antiblobbing mechanics in all strategy games. The stronger you become the weaker you become because when you grow bigger you have more and more vassals so you have more potential enemies that can rebel and plot against you. If you have a small area no one really cares about you but when you control the whole let's say Germany then not only do you have many enemies outside but also many potential enemies inside. I also really like character development in CK3. I can really recommend the game.

I'd say that no matter how cool you play, its next to impossible to reach by 1469 the same level of success as Aq-Qoyunly have at historical 1469 start (when Uzun Hasan defeated Qara-Qoyunlu, captured most of Iran and subjugated Mushasha. So maybe starting in 1469 is a good idea). The good thing about 1444 White sheep start is that you'll have a chance to obstruct the Otoman accendance, which you did.

Finished playing as Ezochi in Ante Bellum, it was quite cool. The next nation I'm looking at is Kham in Europa Expanded... you can form Tibet, become a horde, then finally form Yuan, who has custom missions in EE 😊

@@GolemEnt Ainu is much better poised to conquer in AB than in base EU. I'm sure with your hyper-aggression you'll do fine. My economy took a loooong time before it took off, and diplo ideas helped a lot (the only other animist nations are small fries in Molluccas who aren't really worth allying). I ended up trying out defensive and maritime ideas, since I haven't played them before. Wooden shield + mega forts were fun, although idk if I'd recommend them.

actually aq qoyunlu missions are terrible, but ideas are superb, also missions gives access tribes estate so its a nice touch. you can try to form persia with aq qoyunlu without new ideas, take "Legacy of the Seljuk" reform for free +50% Cavalry to infantry ratio −25% Cavalry cost. full cavalry might be fun.

Mughals getting some new content in 1.37 so i'll definitely play them and i'll go hindu for the monument
