It makes sense because of all the major colonizers France is the one who gains the least amount of power from colonization, whereas Portugal Spain and England get the majority of their power base from going overseas, and so not being able to colonize means that they are just so much weaker than France

Well Ming is kind of OP these days or patch, most of my recent games is them blowing up then rising up again in the late game. Couple of reason is that somehow they have huge Land force limit modifier even with a couple of province left they still can sustain tons of troops and then at some point they would get a freaking 10% discipline out of nowhere, it says militarization of state or country dunno which one; thats that and to make it worst sometimes stupid Shun takes the down ticking mandate of heaven instead of leaving it to Ming.

I like this run, becuz the natives are actually strong when trying, it makes it hard for the Europeans to colonize, forcing them to colonize and focus on eachother, which is why I think there was so many cursed European lands... A lot of the typical colonizers got wrecked

As somebody living in Canada I must say, truly blessed concept, I haven’t watched the video yet, but I’ll be cheering on my local indigenous nation, let’s see if they don’t get totally squashed. Edit: unfortunately we died. Curse you Portuguese Alaska. I wish we could have at least had a dignified death at the hands of Lipan, but the west coast was one of the few places to actually fall to the Europeans from what I saw. RIP.

@@Chewbert 1) I was thinking giving Mali and/or Kongo incredible colonial buffs (+3 colonists +70 settler growth and 15% settle chance extra) or something like that (I think it would be very interesting for Mali to have because of the atlantic voyage of the predecessor of Mansa Musa. 2) I'd love to see a enourmously buffed Mongolia game (Ghenkis Khan 2 electric boogaloo) 3) something where all east and central african nations have +1 colonists and some money to make them use it 4) All nations have virtually infinite manpower (Yes I am trying to break your PC) 5) All endtags that can be formed exist in one way or another (perhaps leave big bad germany out of this one...) 6) All Horde nations get 40% more tax income and -8 unrest to stabalize them) (maybe make them way more aggresive) 7) Make Ryukyu extremely powerful somehow (thinking 50% admin efficiency and start with tech 12, +1 colonist) 8) put in all new world colonial nations at 1444 9) Buff the shit out of all 1444 OPMs (start them at tech 15 and nothing else) that'll create a game with big nations you never see being big 10) switch the ottomans and ming tags I'll leave it at 10 for now xD

hey, what settings/mods do you use for the AI in these scenarios? :D the game looks awesome, never sure how you can pan the camera around awesome, but this deserves a lot of love :D

For AI I use a run script to give all rulers militarist personalities to keep the action coming, but aside from that that's it :D As far as panning, you use the console to "enable_game_controller" and plug and xbox controller into your PC
