In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4) video we will be changing the trade good of every single province in the game to gold. This means that there will be no production or trade, but a LOT of money coming in for every nation in the game. We will see how this change of money will effect the world.

You should consider running a game where the 3 Hegemons are assigned from the start of the game, maybe assigned to some B-Tier nations like Sweden/Switzerland/Naples so that the colors are different.

In real life they also had a pretty good run, but got pretty unlucky and unable to permanently secure Bohemia and Hungary (Eu4 1444 begins after battle of Varna where young king of Poland-Hungary PU died). Later on Vasa dynasty (Swedish) actually had two PUs formed from Poland-Lithuania-Sweden(briefly) and a bit later on PLC-Russia (also briefly).

You know, watching this I got the idea and funny feeling the A.I would handle this map better than humans in none pause, ffa multiplayer. Mainly cause the A.I cheats and it would not be every A.I nation that does well. The idea being i could see the humans getting suckered into a major player war, and just forget about the inflation until it ruins them. No idea if you can set up such a game with your discord or fellow social streamers or whatever, but i feel like it would be very interesting. Hope you get well soon.

What would probably happen is every player takes Economic ideas and then hands the "Control of Monetary policy" privilege to the relevant estate (-0.25 inflation per year total) and then employing a Master of Mint advisor (-0.1) keeps a pretty tight lid on inflation. Actions like "Forgive Usury" with Papal influence (-0.1) would also help tremendously. To be honest though, I don't think inflation is damaging enough as it barely matters most of the time. Doubling the inflation gain would mean you gain 1% inflation per 100% of your income that's gold rather than the 0.5% inflation that it is right now.
