Hey, I'm trying to add Assyria to the game and I can never seem to make mission slot 5 appear, except for the first mission in that slot. Also, the localization for the first mission in slot 5 is broken.

I had the same problem, but I think I solved it. Instread of going to "documents/pdxinteractive/eu4", go to the steam folder "SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Europa Universalis IV" for the needed files (missions, interface etc.)

you can mod in your country outside of the in game custom nations builder and it will defenitly work

hey, begginer modder here. I've already created my own nation, the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves and now all I need is missions. I want them to be based around Portugal's missions, but I don't quite know how. I don't want to do the painstaking process of having to redo all of the missions that Portugal has. I kinda just want to keep the old missions for now without much of a fuss. Like make the new nation keep the old missions (and once they had been completed by the former nation, they would be also be completed in the new nation, kinda like Spain)

I dont know much about modding but I assume you could copy all of portugals files and just replace the country tag and stuff like that. There is also a condition which allows you to have the same mission tree as the old country so if youre not late you could check it up. I think its just a simple check or just copy the missions files for the new country in which case it will say upon formation "obtain new missions" but theyl be the same

Open the 00_defines.lua file which is located in Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV\common\defines And just change the END_DATE to whatever you like, save the file and that's it.
