But Lubi this event ''the rule of god'' is there since introduction of divine ideas, but since nobody really use them it's hard to actually see one. To get this event you have to: has enabled divine ideas; is at war with any country of different religion This event CAN trigger once every 5 years (nothing above changes the fact that new mission tree for teutons is superb) Love your content

The rule of god event is from Leviathan, its from the Divine Idea Group so anyone with that idea group has a chance to get that event (there is also a negative version of that event that you can get to so its a double edged sword).

This looks awesome. I think it's Big Boss (?) who was the lead dev for the Flavor Universalis mod and was hired recently by Paradox. This DLC/patch has his mark all over it. Flavor Universalis is absolutely amazing, and it has tons of these different flavor mission trees that offer EU4 experiences which are completely unique and one of a kind, not accessible to any other nation and extremely rewarding. I assume he also influenced some of the balance changes like the nerf to quantity ideas. And I reeeallly hope you're right about the improved AI behavior, it's been insufferable since the last update. I don't want to speak too soon, but this looks like it could be one of the best updates EU4 has ever received. Totally fresh and unique experiences is how you keep players engaged in a game like this 8 years later. I really like what I've seen from Pdx Tinto so far - really good and honest communication, using a lot of resources for unsexy things like the mountains of tiny bugs, taking their time and very deliberate for this patch, and seemingly taking care to make sure what they're putting out as a paid DLC is a worthy new experience and not just some more buttons to click or features that should've been there the whole time. Hopefully there are no glaring issues hiding in wait like the Emperor update (I think?), but man I haven't been this hyped about this game in a long time.

Good tactics Ludi. I'm doing my crusader run but was slow because of prussian confederacy event, a religious war in HRE and the Russians allying freaking Ottomans. The most heroic time I had was when I was the last one left on the catholic side and just smacking the french, the ottomans, the spanish and half of europe with my 120k stack while they tried to siedge down my forts. Eventually the ottomans white peaced and I could handle the rest to get white peace. The only objection I have to the AI is that the religious war leaders take a LOOOOONG time to peace out anyone.

Mission on the high seas reform has always been in the game for a theocracy. But you need to have your capital to have a port, which I thought the Teutons didn't have. Also another good reason to reduce autonomy, is faster reform progress, as it goes up faster the lower your autonomy average is.

Poland and PLC are also OP. By 1490 I've managed to not only have Lithuania and Moldova under the Polish Crown but also: Bohemia, Hungary (Already with Transylvania and Croatia incorporated into it), Secular Prussia, Livonian Order and Teodoro as a jump start to Crimea. With influence and offensive ideas, neither Muscovy nor Ottomans can withstand it. Apart from Brandenburg, every other neighbor of POL is either a junior partner or a vassal.

I had a hard time in my run lol, only ally I could get willing to help with Poland was Hungary, but both Poland and Hungary partitioned Wallachia first thing so Hungary prioritized the forts in Wallachia and Moldova and left me to get sieged down. Thankfully Poland didn't have Lithuania as an ally yet but that was pretty frustrating. There was probably something I could've done, but I'm awful at this game lol
