Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Blackness Road Open Day Turnouts

This is my compilation video of all the turnouts that took place during this years open day at Dundee's Blackness Road Fire Station.
I am very happy to announce that i have on this video, the first ever recording of a new Rosenbauer Volvo Aerial Ladder Platform responding. This specific one is the only one the SFRS in service at the moment.

That first Scania looks like it has the whelen 900 superLED as grill lights, I have never seen in person or in movie those lights used in UK before. I find that absolutely astonishing! Thank you for posting the clip

The 3rd pump looks like us the only diffrence is the back of the appliance is yellow and red when rothesay fire service has white and red and has non haligen lights ar the back red and blue and it has the red and yellow stickers

The ALP'S lighting on the front is very sparse, it's quite hard to see the blues.

Ewan, I was at the open day on Saturday 8th from 11am - 12.50. The operational appliances on the day were the 62 plate (Kingsway East 1st away), the W (Blackness Road's 2nd away, spare) deputising for the 11 plate. A firefighter told me the 60 plate 1st away was to be used as a last resort. The Alp and 4 pumps were used last Tuesday 4th at a 2nd floor fire at Morgan Tower just down from the DCA in the Nethergate Dundee. 7 people rescued 2 taken to hospital for smoke inhalation. Ladders and the ALP was used for this. It was in the Local paper with photograph the next day.

Simon supersi not sure why they didn’t use the bays, probably because they were too crowded due to the stalls and people wandering, plus there was a water rescue unit parked directly at the back of the leftmost bay,

It was an open day they probably had all the appliances in the drill yard for everyone to see and the bays were probably full of people and stalls
