When other commenters are expressing their opinion about storing the Lynx for a few months, it’s not because they don’t think that you (or the average user) isn’t capable of riding it. The reason for the trepidation among experienced riders is that they understand that the subtle aspects of fine muscle control takes time to build up. Coordination, dexterity, fluidity and muscle memory is best achieved gradually and thoughtfully. To accelerate your progress, focus on riding on bumpy grass fields and on slopes that challenge the power output of the v8s (@230#, you’re looking at 15-20 degree slope… maybe 10mph). What you’re looking for is to build your skills at power management. Set temperature alarms lower and you’ll get an intuitive sense of how to smooth your control inputs so as NOT to spike the PWM over 80%. After about 2 months of practice, you’ll be able to consistently ride the beeps and gently recover from a cut-out before it happens. This FEEL (for the power limitations of every EUC you may own) is an essential skill that many people never develop because they upgraded too fast to allow the basic fundamentals be thoroughly explored. Practice your positioning, consciously, by varying body position in as many ways as you can imagine. The breadth of your performance envelope is comprised of your having previously experienced all body positions with all variations of trajectory and speed. {This was the purpose of the Speed Bump exercises outlined in a previous comment.} For example, experiencing wobbles prepares your mind-body for greater capacity to recover from subsequent wobbles; Consciously practice inducing wobbles at various speeds and trajectories. When you’re feeling like the entire range of possibilities of the v8s has been thoroughly explored… then you’re ready to go do the same on the Lynx. Of course, this is just one opinion. You do you.

I have the V8F, mid 2020. I wish that the tire was wider, but it is a good machine

You're making great progress! And props on that body armor it looks great! I use the EVT Safe Zone Bicycle Helmet Mirror you can get it direct or from amazon. It's not the cheapest but the mirror shape is perfect, and it has survived a few falls already. I attached it with 3m double sided tape. I learned to ride EUC on the lynx (am still learning tbh am at about 80 miles in on the lynx) and what has helped me the most is taking it on dirt roads where I don't have to think about traffic or people, just make sure your tire pressure is as low as the tire is rated for while on dirt 33-34lb. The next best thing has been doing knee exercises (mostly lunges). Learning on dirt has really thought me to watch where I'm going and plan my lines better. The only times I've ate shit is when I hit a sandy part of the road going too fast with too high tire pressure, as long as I watch for it sand is not a problem for the lynx. when slow speed turning clicked for me is when I was experimenting at ~5mph with raising and pushing forward one foot and lowering and pushing back the the other. I also got some Forma Terra Evo Low motorcycle boots (I got new ones for about 50% off on ebay) they have really helped me feel safer when learning on the lynx even if I don't plan on using them for on road shorter rides once I'm more skilled on the lynx.

Look at you. I been waiting for this follow up video. Glad to see you riding me gee. You are definitely Lynx ready. Why aren’t you riding it on the regular? Lmao. As fare as the mirror I use the hand mirror. Not crazy about having a mirror sticking out of my helmet. But to each is own. Keep up the great work man. Enjoy. Ride safe.

You bought a F22 (Lynx) and realized you need to start in a cassena (V8) first. It's no bother, when you are ready, the Lynx will still be there for you. To be honest, I think you should try the Lynx again. The way you are riding your V8, you are ready.
