The Leigh Creek coal mine in the north of my state of South Australia used Euclid 35 ton capacity dump trucks for years, later replaced with more modern Lectrahaul units. Mine has since closed, i assume all the old Euclids were scrapped. A couple were converted to water tanker/fire trucks and were still onsite in 2007. Fortunately i got some pics of them at the time

Yes it really is! Yep, made in Euclid Ohio for years! Thankfully not, the folks who manage this wrecking yard recognized this trucks significance and plan on preserving it for now at least.

It's called a haul truck..rear of the bed is sloped up as they didnt use a tailgate..
