Great stuff. These are exactly the type of rhythmic tools I was working on last year in Bidule. There are many ways to inject dynamics into the rhythm events. Watching these videos is making me consider adding Max/MSP to my toolbox of MIDI software :)

do you think for someone just getting into Max like myself this is a useful toolkit? I'm worried that by obfuscating the underlying logic and relying on your objects I wont have a good grasp of how Max actually works underneath the hood? Love the package btw, it's fantastic.

definitely. the logic is still there, you’re just able to do more with less work! one goal of rtt is to make learning max a more fun and fruitful process for newcomers. if you want to go deeper into max, rtt will give you plenty of opportunities. especially if you want to get into gen~.

rtt will let you do things with time and rhythm much faster but still forces you to gain a conceptual understanding and combine with the Max objects that drive rtt and are necessary to patch
