This is an excellent video. At my age I cant see to read the instructions and need a visual tutorial. One question pulling the stand to its full length is very stiff...I was afraid to pull to hard....or will it get easier to pull as I use it more?

Hi Kevin! Thanks for taking the time to show this product's versatility in detail! I'm starting a KZbin channel in early June and need a tripod that will allow me to spin the camera around for vlogging in an inflatable kayak. This one looks like it checks off all my boxes. It has to be high enough to clear the upper deck of the kayak, take my Android phone (with Otterbox), and hold a GoPro or Canon T3i but I do have one concern. In your opinion, would it be possible to strap the tripod down firmly enough to the deck to avoid it falling over in whitewater rapids? I've been looking for someone who describes photography equipment concisely and honestly without drama. I think I've finally found my man! I'll be looking forward to your future reviews. Kudos for a great review. It's all your fault - I'm buying one now! LOL!

Thank you for watching and for your comment. The height will be okay, because it's adjustable. As for securing it, I can only imagine a combination of clamps, zip ties and duct tape (lots). This was a sponsored video, but I absolutely expect to be using my stands whenever a gimbal is not appropriate. I really do love them and am happy to endorse the product.

Hi Kevin, thanks for your video. I have a question, can you help me out? Will this tripod be good for taking pictures from above? My need would be placing objects on a table and taking pictures wth my iphone from above. Tilting the iphone so that it is parallel to the table. My concern is, will the tripod legs stand on the way? Did you test this position? Thanks!

Thank you for watching and for your comment. 🙏 You can position the camera parallel to the table, but the legs will be almost certainly in the shot. a slight adjustment could help with that, or an idea is to consider a boom stand.

I just bought this. It just arrived today. Super disappointed. The phone holder won’t attach to the screw. The hole in the bottom where the screw is supposed to go in is too big for the screw.

@@kevinkaye it’s not. The screw hole was too big for the screw. It doesn’t grab at all. Whether I’m twisting the dial or trying to twist the actual phone holder on or both. I think it was just a manufacturer defect. Very disappointing. I know the screw is the right size because the GoPro mount screws on easily.

That certainly is disappointing. If purchased from Amazon, you should be able to return or exchange it. Inconvenient, but worth it to either have the money back, or a stand that works well.

Does the Eucos Tripod 62" also work with an android Samsung s20+5? I followed the instructions and was able to pare the remote to the phone. However, I was not able to take photos/videos with my phone using the remote. Any suggestions?
