Eueu’s Vlog - Jeju & Seoul Travel: Bomnal Cafe, Jeju Forest Airbnb, Kitchen Soop, Staying in a Hanok

Vlog starts with our 4th day in Jeju. Woke up in the morning and enjoyed the quiet moment in Jeju countryside near the forest. Met the other host in the morning when i went out to play with their dog Labong. He brought me to a nearby field to pick brackens 고사리. It‘s definitely a new experiencedor me. We visited Aewol Cafe Street in the morning and visited a nice cafe Bomnal. It has a great view of the sea and many beautiful spots. After Bomnal, we went to the 5-Day traditional market for a look any had our lunch there. We also went to the pedestrian shopping street but nothing much there. So we went for an early dinner of grilled Jeju black pork. It was a good dinner!

When we returned to the Airbnb, the host showed hs his backyard where he had many fruit trees (still bare), mushrooms, many chickens and ducks. And he showed us fresh eggs from the nests whixh were still warm. All new for city dwellers like us.

It is a bit remote and the nearest bus stop is far away. We had to depend on cabs all the time here. Good if you drive. Hosts are a couple, the husband can speak some Chinese and English. They are very friendly and kind. Labong is the best thing for me at this Airbnb. 🐶
We left for Seoul early in the morning the next day. After landing in Gimpo, we took a bus to our 3rd and last Airbnb in Bulchon. We booked a room in a traditional hanok this time. We left for lunch at Kitchen Soop after dropping our luggages. Its a curry restaurant that were featured a few times in Ondo‘s vlogs so i really wanted to try it. No regret going as its such an aesthetic space with delicious food.

We wandered around Yeonnam-dong after that and dropped by a cafe for a quick break. Then we went back to check in to our Airbnb. Its really a lovely cozy place. I really like that we were living right in Bukchon with many other traditional hanoks around and also nearby many othet cute and famous cafes like Onion and Dotori cafe just 5 mins walk away.
Met my Korean teacher at night ans we called it a day.

We booked the smaller room but there is also a bigger room listed on Airbnb. We find the room clean and cozy and the host very attentive, responsive and helpful .

The AirBnb host is so friendly to show you all around (Incl backyard animals) and of cos the smiley clever Labong ❤. Feels the warmness in this video 😊. Watching this video makes me feel like travelling with u gals along too. The scenery, the weather and also the cafes and gift shops… never know Jeju can be so fun! I think it’s fine for most shops and restaurants and cafe as the staff would know some English. 😊
