What happens if we want to mount this on a edge of a corner, is it still as good with detecting people or is the 330 better as my understanding is it can detect a full 360 of movement with the ir?

Thanks, I think I need 2 of these because the width of my building and area that needs coverage but the area that needs surveillance is a very busy street with constant foot traffic so I wonder if this is the actual product I need? I need the flood light type of cameras. Thoughts Please.

I installed a s330 June 2023, was working as expected but last week Nov2024 i lost all the lights, 😢off course , the warranty is for a year. So beware

My current floodlights are wired to a switch which we turn them on when outside with the dog. Can these be set to have the light on all the time?

I think you might be asking the wrong question. When you turn off the switch, you will turn off the entire power. Thus the camera AND light will NOT work when the switch is off. If you rewire and bypass the switch, the camera will always have power and then in the app, you can keep the light all the time.

In the older S330, they have RTSP but the new E330 they took the option away.

Hello . Had the e340 installed for a month . During the day it’s very very sensitive to every passing car even when I adjusted down sensitivity and set up activity zones . After dark it’s tracking and lights up when motion detected but doesn’t record anything . Can you please help ? I have a ticket to eufy and still waiting

I have the S330 installed in my garage and it is constantly going off line. I have read this complaint from other people as well. When it goes off line and it is armed I can't disarm it without cutting the power. Is the E340's wifi connection any more stable?

That's a bummer that you're having WiFi issue but I can't tell if the E340 will be more stable for you cause I never had WiFi issue with the S330.

Have they fixed the issue with the activity zone being pretty much useless? I live on a main street and every car that passes by sends me a notification. I've messed with the Activity zone like a thousand times and it doesn't seem to change anything. I still get notified for activity outside the zone. Even changed the detection range and everything. Its super annoying. As much as I don't want to I start to ignore notifications because I get so many!!

Man that really sucks that they took out the option to change the color of the lights. I prefer white light.

I agree. Except I prefer a warmer tone (3000K) while the E340 is set at 4000K. It also sucks that they took out the 3rd panel because you can underdrive the LEDs and still get extremely bright wide coverage. Major step backward, in my opinion.

I just put up two e330 cams and together they're getting rid of blind spots. I have a prowler who is very skilled. Probably ended his wrath 😂

Does the e340 also have a siren? Eufy say their way of getting around their poor security system is to use a camera with a siren.

How to get around recording every single bug that flies from 9pm - sunrise . Motion is set to lowest and range detection to 0 . During the day it’s perfect .

The s330 that I have had about 2 years is having a water moisture issue that renders it useless. No brainer going for the e340 as it doesn’t have useless plastic glove that’s going to leak.

5G & WPA3 make this camera a lot more unsusceptible to WIFI blocking devices. If your router supports WIFI 6, you'd be better off connecting directly to it. Until they release a Homebase 4 that IS 5G.
