I just ordered this. As far as getting close to baseboards, contact will scratch/smear dirt on them over time and they would need repainted. From experience.

Can it handle well water from a water softner

I also bought it, but I'm a bit worried about the cleaning solution because it states that you can't use anything else. It is quite expensive, and what if they run out and you can't purchase more from them?

They all say this and I use cleaning solution, a little, in all of mine and nothing has happened but it is at your own risk.

They are honestly all about the same. The loudest part is when it cleans the vacuum dust into the bag, but only last a few seconds. This is really the best one I've tested so far.

Oh for sure. Completely optional on all vacuum that I reviewed on my channel

Is it make noise during operation?

Not more than any other does. Main noise comes when it's empty the trash into the bag on the hub but that's normal across all models I've tried
