Im a mom of a 1 year old, 8 year old, and 17 year old. I have hardwood floors. After work I'm too tired to constantly sweep and mop the floor I'm just too tired and I feel like I could be spending that time with my children. Listen I ordered this and it came in the mail today. I intentionally did not mop my floors in 2 days and did not sweep from yesterday. I ran this machine 1X with only one pass. I didn't use any solution. Just plain water. My floors are sooooo clean right now. I just feel like crying. Like the amount of time I spend cleaning crumbs and food. Sticky floors.. Having to constantly wash the mops and replacing the swifter sheets. I'm not exaggerating. I'm not rich by far. But I saved up for this and it's worth it! This one day was worth it lol. One thing I noticed about this model getting it 2 weeks ago. The detangle comb DOES turn during the bin empty now. I've used it for over a week with a shedding cat and there are no hair tangles in the brush at all, and no hair buildup either. I would also argue that bristle brushes are better at carpet. A lot of vacuums that use a single rubber roller doesn't get the best reviews, but dual rollers do so there is that. Still the bristle works really well that I can tell.

I expect this one to get better (AI/mapping/pathing) over time with software updates. Eufy (Anker) is like Wyze where they release "beta" products and fix the firmware over time as part of their business model to keep costs reduced. The only major features this is missing compared to flagships is the hot-water wash and the edge mopping (e.g. pad that swings out or butt-wiggle). Also, the solution you can use in many Robovacs is the Bona Hardware Floor concentrate.

Hi! So i had a horrible experience with eufy, got their handheld vacuum cleaner & it started out by being amazing then slowly the performance declined until it eventually stopped working exactly a year after purchase. I contacted them & they did nothing although it was right before warranty period was ending. I kind of got the impression that their products start off well but dont last & the quality declines with time (i also read reviews about that). Not sure if this review was sponsored but was wondering how is it performing so far? I kind of felt your review was slightly edited. Also, i didnt see how it did on washing the mop pads, were they clean ? Did I miss that part? Cuz i remember seeing a thorough review on that part for the irobot!

I live in a 1250 sq ft apartment with mostly hardwood floors. I mainly just want a good vacuum that will pick up cat hair and cat litter that gets tracked along the apartment. The main feature I need is for the vacuum to detect cat toys, which are typically smaller than all of the lidar scanners. I don’t need the mopping feature. Can you recommend the best vacuum for my situation under $400 please? It seems like the most difficult part is finding one that detects objects lower to the ground. Thanks!

Do you have to use their specific solution in the water or can you also use the regular cleaning solution that you get at the grocery store? I’m asking because I don’t think that they provide the solution in my country. Seen the vacuuming robot on Amazon, but not the solution, only the dust bags. It’s a little bit on the pricey side given I am on a fixed income, but I definitely think it’s worth it because I have a disability that, makes it to where I cannot vacuum or mop my floors.

both get hair wrap and you will have to deal with both, the best for long hair is Dreame sells a brush roller that cuts the hair but its 50 bucks adn you can install it on lots of there models. Roborock curv has a nice brush roller and the Freo Z does also. the lower end robot struggle with long hair

It should be noted the photos feature is going away in a future firmware update. It still will use that data locally and send it to the cloud for improvement, but not actually show you the photo on your phone.

@@juliabewsher3277 The jet bot was confused most of the time and would fail to complete a cleaning turning red and sitting idly in the hallway. Then it couldn't dock itself, would skip rooms and couldn't tell that it was on hard floors to mop. The Eufy does a thousand times better at less than half the price.

You could do this yourself with hand held wireless vaccume (half price or less for premium one) in 2min while this thing is slow, week suction, not acceptable moping. After you have to mop everything so the floor is clean, and pick everything from the floor, what's the point, and the maintenance is absurd. Ith only like 5min a day maximum ? And you're all tired? Remind yourself how much work your mother's had?

Well I've had x9 and it was rubbish. Returned twice for refund. Mopping is just spreading the dirt on x9 no watertank. Mapped my floors and that thing keep crashing to everything. Till they came up with mopping that has a tank to collect dirty water from mops while mopping this is just pointless. Is just spreading/smearing the dirt. Why for example after the mopping finished you didnt take white tissue and wipe the floor with detergent to show if its actually clean
