I own the X9 and the X10, and I have the S1 on order. I think the X9 has to be seen and assessed for what it is: *primarily a mop*. My house is very difficult to clean as it has many corners. I also have 2 pugs that shed like crazy AND bring dirt and grime inside the house twice a day (after their walk). However the X9 works beautifully in my particular context; here's why: 1. I have a small square footage. I've been running the X9 twice 'almost every day' and I have yet to max out the onboard bin. 2. In this context, the X9 shines both as a mop (since the X9'S water tanks are larger, there's no way the X10 would last as long) AND as a vacuum. In addition to this, the X10 must clean its mops as often as the X9 to do a good job, so **the absence of an onboard tank in the X9 is a complete non issue**. 3. They're both similar when it comes to navigation. 4. While this remains subjective, the X9's station looks better imo. 5. Lower cost of maintenance with the X9 (no dust bags) 6. I live right next to a forest: the X9's rubber roller is *much better* at picking up heavier debris. My wife has long hair and it doesn't get tangled nearly as much. Mind you, the X10 no has the new rubber roller...but it must be purchased separately. 7. Fewer points of failure: since the X9 doesn't spray water on it's pads, I feel more at ease using generic cleaning solutions than with the X10. 8. Real life vacuum: honestly, I don't see much of a difference. I would give the X10 a slight edge with regards to vacuuming carpets. So, if your environment has similar characteristics as mine, the X9 could be the best pick. To summarize: 1. Small square footage 2. You need to mop a lot 3. Heavy debris 4. The station is exposed In this particular context, is the water reservoir important? My answer would be that *it isn't*: that's because your mops will get dirty 'before' the the pads run out of water, so might as well have the robot got back to its base, clean up up its mops while saturating the mop pads with fresh water. Would I pay full price for the X9? No. But I wouldn't pay full price for the X10 either. The way I see it, I do think that it is worth $550-$600 *relative to what's available on the market*. The AI and navigation is far superior when compared to other robovacs and I think this is an important point.

A frustrating thing for me with the x10 is having to buy dust bags, so not only does it cost more, you also have to keep spending
@JustADad8 ай бұрын
I get that, but with the bagless vacuums the filters can be really dirty to clean.

Dad, I bought the x10 and real happy with it. One thing i’m not super crazy about is that when it mops, it leaves circle marks from the pads. This is on tile floors. Any thoughts on how to stop that if possible? I used plain water and the Eufy formula and it happens in either case. Thanks Dad!

Do you have your hands on the S1 Pro yet? Would love to know what you think. Most of the KZbin videos I have seen are all sponsored videos so it's hard to believe the impressions.

I have an x9. I'm considering getting another Eufy for upstairs,maybe x10. But the X9 is very good. I use normal water settings and it uses a lot and I have to fill it relatively often. The X10 has a smaller reservoir so that a big disadvantage. The dust bag is surely a disadvantage too with regards to cost but it saves have to empty it as often as the X9 has poor capacity. So in my eyes the X10 only ticks one box for dust capacity but not for water capacity.

I got the X9 at a very low price here in Saudi Arabia as the X10 is not available. I was amazed in the obstacle avoidance as it was cleaning the floor under the dining table with all the chair inside so I gave it a test with my small dog actual poop. It avoided it in the start and almost finished cleaning around it when it went back to clean even closer to the poop and when the thing is on its side it forgot that it was there and swung its brushes on and smeared the whole thing. I’m not comfortable leaving itrunning alone anymore.

What about the X9 having a bigger trash bin? Less space it occupies, better filter system for the vacuum, less cost with trash bags, bigger capacity on the x9 water. With case for the tanks it’s much less dust accumulator.

Hi @justadad :). Again, thank you for your work. A great (and perhaps more appropriate) comparison would be the X9 vs the Narwal Freo Ultra :)

I've had good luck with refurb items in the past and decided to see how good eBay's refurb program is. I just bought an x9 for $375 ($400 after tax) and am waiting for it to come in. So when you said you'd only pick one up for $500, that made me feel a bit better. I did also get an email from eBay and apparently their refurb program has a two year warranty. But yeah, a little disappointed at how comparatively simple the mopping feature is on the x9, but it's a robot that has all day to finish it's tasks by itself, so I guess it's not that big a deal. I did know about the lack of dustbin emptying though, and that didn't bother me as much. Thanks for the review/comparison.

Is Shark coming out with a competitor to the x10p pro?
@GolzeD20094 ай бұрын
Thanks so much for showing how sneaky they were! Just like you, seeing how big the station is and how pricey it is, I thought the X9 would obviously come with all of the standard features that modern top-of-the-line models offer. I did not bother to read the specs because I've been researching for 6+ hours and im just getting sick and tired of all of this. Im not in the US so I have limited options to choose from, some are either very pricey or just older models. The X9 is available for $541 (15% VAT incl.) and I thought it would be the PERFECT choice for me at that price, but seeing what it lacked in your video made me decide to steer away from Eufy all together because of these crazy expensive models that lack pretty standard features that models half the price can offer. What's the point of spending that much if the thing isn't going to auto empty and do everything for me? This pretty much means I either have to go for the most expensive X10 or look for a different brand. The X10 costs $837 but no way im spending that much when other models such as the Dreame L10s Ultra that offers about the same major features is available for $746. Im looking for a model that has spare parts available locally, and something that has a replaceable battery that I can also find in my market (planning for the long term here, I would hate to get forced to buy another robo vac after just 2-4 years). Im aiming for ~$500 and found the Ecovacs X1 Omni which looks like an awesome choice for just $453 and does almost everything, except it lacks smart mopping (can't raise the mop when going over carpet, so it would either not vacuum carpets or I have to physically take off the mop pads which is stupid), and it also doesn't have a replaceable battery so kind of a deal breaker for me. The Dreame L10s Ultra at $746 looks like a complete solution for me, but sadly no replaceable battery or I cannot find someone selling it locally. The top models from Eufy are available with good spare parts and batteries, but I have to go with the X10 for the complete features but it's just too expensive. This is gonna drive me mad! I guess I'll have to do more research or wait for some sales. BTW I LOVE your videos! I've been researching some random devices in the last couple of months and I always find/hope to find a video from you. The last thing that I remember buying after watching your videos was the Ninja Blast portable blender. Keep up your awesome work! You honestly deserve a lot more views and recognition.

Quick update: The Eufy X10 is now down to $690 here and im thinking of going for it. I do like that the Eufy stuff has plenty of OEM and aftermarket replacement parts locally (a replaceable battery too!). But im still not 100% sure, I might wait for a better sale or look for different cheaper models.

Hi, I’m totally blind, and I’m looking for a robot vacuum for my small apartment. I’d prefer one that does both the mopping, and the vacuuming as I have 2 areas that are tile being the livingroom, and dining room areas, and the bathroom area The only carpeted area is my bandroom which is between the both of those areas. Which vacuum do you think would be best suited for my situation?

Do you review much of ecovacs robot vacuums I seen a new t30 is coming out soon. I do have a t20 it's like the eufy x9 nut it does self empty. It has no internal water tank.
