This really helped. Leaning towards the X9 Pro based on this excellent comparison breakdown. We're a single floor bungalow with all wooden floors, so I feel the advanced mopping features suit us better. I would also be a bit put off by the ongoing cost of replacement bags on the X8. Great vid, thanks for the thorough review.

Fantastic review - thank you! Looking to upgrade from the old C30 and wasn't sure which way to go. At the beginning of your review I was sold on the X9, but with a puppy, the biggest benefit for me is the self emptying. I already need to empty the C30 dust-bin multiple times throughout each clean, so the 2.5L self-empty bin sounds like a dream! Really appreciate this, as it really solidified that either would be a fantastic investment, but that for our family, the way to go is the X8.

This was perfect. I just bought the x8 (not really looking into the x9). While the x9 looks great, im glad went w the x8. I have 2 dogs and the self empty feature sold me. No buyers remorse here!

You should wait for the x10 pro coming out in February! They redesigned the dock station to add self emptying. If you preorder now, you can get it for $200 off at a cost of $599! Cheaper than the x9 too!

I feel they almost had it right, one is missing the self mop clean and dry while the other is missing the self empty vacuum 🤦. So close..

Sorry for the late comment but with the X8 pro, is there a way to ensure longevity in the changing bag? Just thinking about the cost benefit analysis versus X9 pro

Honestly the best way to do this is to empty the robovac or the bag yourself. So you can either pause the robovac before it gets to its base and empty the dust collector out. Or you can physically pull dirt/try to empty the changing bags yourself (like I show in the video). The second option is a messier and more difficult option - but it would save you money!

Do you know if you need the self-emptying station to use the auto-detangler feature? Trying to see if it’s worth buying the standard station to save money from having to buy new bags lol

Yes I believe so - it asks you to return it to the dock to do so because as part of the detangling process it vacuums the roller brush into the base station. You really don't need the detangling feature though so you could still save yourself some money if you like!

I think they need replacing far less often. You could wash and re-use them multiple times, so it's not a huge concern for me personally

Hello, I am sorry for commenting about earbuds on a non headphone video however I was wondering if you could answer a question I had, I commented before about earbuds but my main concerns are sound quality across the board (I love bass but not willing to sacrifice others for it), loud volume, and something such as ANC or another feature to drown out all noise from the outside world so I can become completely immersed in my music, the only other thing I am concerned about is sound leakage as I don’t want to bother others or have to be annoyed by others hearing what I am listening to (this concern is less than the others in importance) , you already said the devialet Gemini would be best for me or the seinheiser MTW3 if I was skeptical of the Gemini however I was wondering if the WF-1000XM5 were better than either of those in your opinion? And I also listen to a lot of asmr and that is just as important as my music to me so would you change your recommendations based on that?

No that wouldn’t change my recommendation. The Sony WF-1000XM5 don’t offer the ANC that the other two offer. If you want immersion then stick with the ones I said

Saw it, really intrigued by it! But based on the performance of this video so far…unlikely to review it on the channel. The views tell me what my audience wants to see and, sadly, it just doesn’t seem like that many want to see robovac reviews 😕
