I purchased this system and set it up without problems. BUT now, I am looking for the masonry drill bit and can't find that size for going in between the bricks. I see that the drill bit that you used is not a concrete bit and you seemed to have no problems. So I wanted to know if I can use a regular bit like the DeWalt Black and Gold 15/64" 6mm Anybody else comment on this issue and where you got the correct drill bit?

great review, just a quick question..does the home base always need to be connected to internet via ethernet cable (as mentioned in instructions), can it be connected via WiFi? Thank you!!

Yes I am using home base 2 and it does have an option to connect via WIFI. Setup and pairing can be done via ethernet cable only. But once its paired you can go to the settings of Home base and in connectivity it gives you the option of WIFI only, follow the prompts and connect it via WIFI only. I have done the same as well.

Absolutely you can. You just need to be connected to mobile internet data like 3g,4g or 5g and you can see your cameras from anywhere in the world.

They run off WiFi from your homes internet supply ,picking up the WiFi from the internet supply to your homebase

I have the same system eufy 2c pro ,I havnt used the eithernet cable from the eufy homebase to my internet modem box ,am I better to hook the 2 boxes together by this eitjernet cable for better WiFi to the cameras ? With 2 of the cameras which are about 30ft from homebase outside on wall ,I'm finding from the yards fences which is 12ft to the cameras with me walking on outside the fence they arnt picking me up ,but as soon as I come into the yard near fence they will be activated, any suggestions? i have definitely noted huge improvement when connected via ethernet. Also for detection maybe increase sensitivity for the camera which isn't detecting and check.

For ease of drilling..... you need a "Masonry bit" , with the power drill... set on the " Hammer" setting.

Can I mount it with 3M magnetic adhesive mounting plates?

These camera are not designed to be mount via magnetic adhesive. They only come with screws. But choice is yours.

16gb local homebase storage, then homebase has usb port so you can plug in Usb for storage and also you can buy cloud storage as well on subscription basis.

How do you charge the batteries when they are getting low?

I take the camera off and then put it on charge. Eufy offer solar panel charging option as well. I dont have solar panel from eufy. You can check from their website. Thanks

How is the battery performance. How long before they need recharging in the real world performance

It's been almost 2 weeks that I installed these cameras. Battery is full for all 3 cams at the moment. Getting few notification from the house front cam every now and then, as our house is the corner one to the main road. Will update you within 2-3 months time about battery again.

@@LouieP1110 I have all my cameras on optimal surveillance. Its been almost 3 months now and battery is half for the front camera as there is lots of movement and for the rest battery is at about 60%.

Warning! You can't rotate the images 180 ° unlike Arlo ... so the cable hangs underneath to go up afterwards It is unsightly !!

For initial pairing/ setup you need WIFI 2.4Ghz network. Once you have paired and its all up and running then you can put your phone on mobile network 5G or 4G it will still work.

Nice review. It’s to bad that you can wipe all the images the camera made from your homebase by pressing the sync button for 10 seconds. Not good for a security product.
