Hey guys. Last year I had the pleasure to witness and get inspired by ‪@UgE‬ performing with ‪@AbbathTV‬ in Norway where we shared the stage at a festival. I got pretty nostalgic cause "Sons of Northern Darkness" was one of the first Immortal songs I have ever heard alongside with "One by One". Last year during a studio session I had the spontaneous idea to just do it for one. Basically almost didn't rehearse it at all, just played by memory hahahaha. Was cool.

When this album came out, I almost bought it probably 10 different times. I was just always at the record store for other specific stuff. I even had it in my hand a couple of times, but put it back. I hadn't heard it yet. It wasn't like now where everything is at your fingertips. Bands sometimes had samples of a couple of songs on their official websites, but 90% of the time, you were buying an album blind. I pretty much totally forgot about Immortal until a couple of years ago and finally listened to this album. I've never kicked myself in the ass harder for not buying it when it came out. One would also not be totally inaccurate in saying that it was ahead of it's time. Also, it would have been nice to have an OG copy. Amazing album and an even more amazing cover! Wonderful job, sir!
