To build their homes in the mountains, the charcoal burners followed the same technique that they used to assemble the charcoal burners. Boxwood branches or “bucho” with their leaves were crossed over the wooden structure, which will serve as support for the layer of earth that will cover the shack. In 1999 we had the opportunity to record this type of construction in Agüero, Huesca.
