Daia has been able to watch the show and mold herself into exactly what Kordell wanted and needed. He has been a man in the desert with Serena desperate for water and Daia came with the water for him saying and doing everything he has been wanting. Serena being a slow burn and always open to getting to know the new bombshells is why Kordell was open to getting to know someone else. But I will say Serena did keep her actions to a minimum when getting to know others unlike Kordell now.

At the time Kordell didn't have any problem with coupling. They were both opened and chose not to kiss Nigel cuz of Kordell and staying true to him. They each have right connect with others but communication is key which Serena kept with Kordell all this while. The point is not Kordell finding another but claiming that he's head over heels with Serena and turing a 180 in Casa Amor. He can move on but to sleep with another person is absurd. After all Serena hasn't been that cruel to him. At least he could wait to clear things with Serena then do all the sleeping around. He is just hypnotized by the new girl. Just wanted a piece of her.

I have no words ..but like Leo from last season, Kordell is young... I was surprised at how fast it all happened... I think Queen E your point about Serena also not having many options to challenge her in any way especially in Casa Amor... but also she's smart really into community and education so I just feel she wanted more intelligence from Kodell initially. For the whole Cordell situation, I feel it's right for him to explore his options cause he did not get to do that till date with Serena hovering around. But he seems very uncontrollable around Daia which makes me feel he doesn't respect Serena enough. Atleast Serena will not go to that extent with a man knowing that she has strong feelings for Cordell.
