29:02, yes, Ancestral over Wheel. 1) You can use up the cards for Ancestral and then later also Wheel so you get both. 2) Last thing you need is to Wheel the opponent into a Balance especially when she has Library out as well.

You made the right decision to not cast wheel in game 2. You were in a good position and lady death touch did not answer the previous attack. A wheel would have only provided your opponent with answers when you had the upper hand. Good patience, sir!

Titania's Song is rather underrated. Usually certain useful artifacts are a bit slow to play such as Icy Manipulator, Relic Barrier, etc. But as soon as you drop TS, it feels like you just put in play a bunch of creatures and they have haste. Also in this environment with so many Disenchants running around, unlike in 1994-95 play, playing a lot of Disenchant targets soaks all of them since you can only play for DE's but you will run like 20+ targets.

Regarding the name: I think Otto Drago (Eight Dragons) works as well. It doesn't have the Q in it, which I guess makes it a bit less cool, but it's the same amount of syllables at least.

timmy youre such a good sport. getting mind twisted like that is like punching below the belt. any os event ive gone to who ever is winning is typically the person with the most power and the first to mindtwist. This is why i run bloodmoon and land kill to try to beat up on these 5color good shit piles.

Good strategy, the moon’s also great in 4 strip formats. The discard really killed my deck at this event, especially the Hymns (we played atlantic). With no cards kegt in hand the Eureka’s pretty bad 🤷‍♂️

great content as always. One question, though: why dragon whelp? Just for fun or is it a thematic choice? It is a rather weak fit for eureka, imo.

A few reasons, I can easily cast it if I don’t draw into eureka (usualky the ramp allows me to play it turn 3). It has the potential to deal 5, so the oppponent has to deal with it and it fits the mana base well (red is one of the main colours). What creature would you play instead?

I run two versions of eureka at the moment. One is just pure trample and Big Flyers with the cheapest ones being 6drops. But i Also have a more curvey version that runs a lot of Four drops. Clone is the best one i Think. But suchi is good too. I will have to try some whelps now, though. And actually they do tick some of the boxes I like. They fly and can deal 5 as u say :) sorry for my rather blunt dismissal.

There's no reason to cast that Wheel after the Eureka. You put down 11 power worth of creatures. She put down just an Ivory Tower and her ability to gain life from it was reduced by her also putting down a land and a Mox. At that point, she also had no lands that tapped for colored mana. You were in the drivers seat and she had to look for answers; if you do nothing else but attack, you just win with the way things were on board. Giving her 7 new cards and maybe putting her into something like Balance or some other answer to your board--Lotus, Mirror Universe for example--is just not a good play for you. Instead, make her find her own answers and don't help her.

She attacked twice the turn after she played the time walk. Her first attack was with the factory (then she untapped the factory, saying it wasn't used to cast the song). Her second attack was after she played the Titania's song.
