I get it everyone is expecting us, Scotland not to do well. But I think when you back at the 7 last games well 3 of those are competitive and 4 are friendlies. The psychology will be different and with most of our players playing well at club level I think we can still peak in June and make it out of the group. Remember the pressure will all be on Germany no pressure on us. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍

I think Scotland will underperform like the previouse euros. I have them getting grouped in 4th place I think they will get 1 point max lose to germany 3-0, lose to hungary 2-1 then draw to Switzerland 2-2 espacaly if they perform like the did against Northern ireland at home.

Nah. This Scottish team is of a different breed. They'll make it out of the group in 2nd. They have impressed me so much in qualifiers that I don't read much into their poor run of results lately.

I don't really like to see them advancing to the Round of 16. Germany (with Kroos-Wirtz-Musiala) and Hungary (with Szoboszlai) were still dangerous. Switzerland were quite dreadful right now with aging Shaqiri and Xhaka, but Scotland will only grab the nervy draw as their best results.

@@dariussalepetru6770 Hungary's last defeat in both friendly and competitive games was when they faced Italy in the Nations League (a 0-2 loss at home). The Italy team were lucky to win because their goalkeeper made some unorthodox saves. Other than that, this team looks very dangerous, especially Orban and Szoboszlai.

Due to the odd format of 24 teams, as long as Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 beat Switzerland 🇨🇭 or Hungary 🇭🇺, score 3 points, finish 3rd and keep their goal difference above -3, they can progress to the knockouts. Their main problem remains the same they've had since Ally McCoist last played: no top goal scoring strikers. Their midfield and defence is actually decent, with Lewis Ferguson, Ryan Gauld and a few others not playing or picked. Having said that, Scotland's run will end in the last 16 and the weirdest thing is that will be the greatest result they will ever achieve in a major cup.
