And three years on, I still think this is the coolest looking OB.

Superb result - I'm not sure I've seen a higher safety assist score! Just goes to show how great Subaru's "Eyesight" AEB suite is.

Volvo uses such a System too with two Cameras. Great to see that more Car Manufacturers are using such systems.

It works good in basically every conditions. Subaru tested it since 1997 (with VHS cameras on first eye-sight technology!), now with this newest 2.0 eye-sight is the most capable system on market right now.

Subarus pay for themselves with Eyesight. Not getting into an accident with all these safety features is a great part of owning a Subaru with Eyesight. While they may be expensive initially, it's a lot cheaper than getting into an accident and having to pay absurd medical bills because your in a 98 Toyota Camry. Those who say they will never buy a new car and drive around in 20-year-old cars, I question the logic behind that decision. Yes, you save a lot of money, but I value my life and I value actually being able to have more airbags in more places and better crash protection that no old car could ever give me. I know the best way to be safe is to not have an accident, but even really good drivers can still be caught by a drunk driver going through an intersection when you have a green light or some teenager crashing into your car

Eyesight is not standard across all Subarus. Toyota Safety Sense is standard for all Toyotas. Even the base models. I'm not a Subaru hater. I quite like their cars and know that their safety systems are good, but a fact is a fact. A 2021 Camry will have all the safety features built in.

@@user-iz3gv5vo6b I would argue that while Toyota does offer that as standard, SSubaru offers AWD standard even on base trims. I think many people would agree that AWD in and of itself is a safety feature. The fact it's offered even on their base model lowest priced sedans, speaks to how they care about safety. While eyesight is a feature you have to pay for, I think Subaru's free AWD on every model and trim is a great benefit

In everyday type usage, these safety features actually work superbly. Not intrusive but our Subaru has saved me from having half a dozen small but nasty accidents over the last 2 years and all I can say is it is worth way more than I paid for it just in saved time and repair bills alone. Sorry, also beaut to drive.
