For sale is a 1984 Ford Mustang GT350 Convertible 20th Anniversary Edition. This is one family from new clean title vehicle that shows zero accidents or damage via Carfax and only 46k miles. This is a very rare Mustang with only 587 Convertibles coming with the Carbureted 4V 5.0 V-8 engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission putting out 175hp/245lb-ft. This was the top performance/HP offering in 1984. In all total there were only 5260 20th Anniversary cars built in coupe and convertible in all drivetrain configurations. They built 141480 Mustangs total in 1984 so this shows you how very rare and special this car is. I bought this car from the son of the original owner who bought it brand new in 1984. I actually flew out to CA and drove this car back to Kansas. There is a KZbin video series on my channel Euroasian Bob if you want to watch the trip and back story of this car. This car is in exceptional original condition and runs and drives perfectly. It has brand new 225-50-16 Vredestein tires on brand new LMR reproduction TRX wheels. This car has a power top, cruise control, power windows, cold AC, premium audio, and all the options you could get in 1984. All of the 20th Anniversary cars were made in Oxford White with Canyon Red Interior. It is such a beautiful color combo! This is a collector grade car but not so low miles that you cannot drive and enjoy it. We have a large amount of original documents, paperwork, receipts, and promotional material that goes with this car. If you want a special FOX body look no further. I'm not a convertible guy, but I love this car. I had an 84 GT hatch with those same seats. 5.0, 5speed. Such a fun little car. If I got another one, I'd like a t-top version.

Another car from my youth! I remember test driving one of these at Boots Williams Ford in KC. A year later at age 20 I was able to buy a brand new 1985 GT 5.0. The 210 HP model with year one of the roller cam. First trick was to swap in a more aggressive accelerator pump cam, anyone remember that mod? It cures a lean stumble off idle that they all had. Anyone who remembers the malaise years of the 70s knows what a breath of fresh air these cars were. My 2.7 two door Bronco would beat one pretty badly today, but by the standards of the mid 1980s these were rocket ships, and they kicked off the whole late model muscle revolution. Thanks for the memories! And don’t trust TRX tires in the wet, they are scary!

I had an 81 base model hatchback Mustang with that terrible naturally aspirated Lima 4 cylinder. No AC. AM Radio. In Florida. It was 8 years old when I got it as a hand me down from my parents. It had that same color interior, though. That has much nicer seats and and more features, but the stalks, switch gear, and color remind me of mine so much.

Bummer, it's sold. I have one which I bought brand new in 1984 and was hoping to get some wiring photos. There are no wiring diagrams for this car. Anyway, great looking car and they are a lot of fun.
