Why are the rear view camera screens portrait orientation? Surely a landscape view would be more useful? Have they just followed the shape of external mirrors?

@junk-male-ut2iu sorry, i realised you meant the mirror cams, as we we also have rear view cams as well! It'd feel really weird if they were landscape I think
