Sorry, but there is no plate tectonics. And no plates. Geologists should awake and decline this primitive and erroneous concept. The Earth is gradually expaning. Don't be afraid to think and talk about this hypothesis. High-precision geodetic measurements will reveal soon that the Earth really expands. And geologists would have to ask physicists, why?
