Eurohike Tamar 2 Tent Review

This little tent punches well above its weight. If you had pegged out the guys it wouldn’t have moved in the breezes you had at night. Also, 2000hh is solid waterproofing. I’ve had Tamar 2 tents for 30 years and never had rain get in, despite some interesting downpours. I have some high end tents, Hilleberg, MSR and Nordisk - the little cheapie Tamar 2 is my favourite! OK, maybe not for the mountains in winter but for 3 season use at lower levels, superb! 🙂👍🏻

This was my first tent I ever bought and I still using it to this day mainly for two nights away and it seems fairly good and now upgraded to 3 person tent with a built-in porch from the same company so I’ll see how that goes. The two men one I think that yes you could definitely get two people in there but what if you had luggage as well backpacks etc you wouldn’t get them in so obviously it’s great for me because it’s just me that uses it but like you said that little porch type whatever area is definitely not great.

nothing wrong with being out in the rain in it i have been out in the rain for 2 days in it and it didn,t leak once and its great in the wind aswell mines my no1 tent. if you want to see it watch out and about in scotland were she,s in her,s in 40 mph winds in scotland and raining and it was a trooper i luv mine and its the green one aswell

Listen to this bloke. He hasn't put guys out and he doesn't know owt about 2000 hh. It means 2000 mm of water on tent before rsin gets in. Most downpours in uk are only a few mm. Ooooer. Brill tent.
