EuroLeague Basketball Originals Documentary: Back 2 Back, Episode 1

"We got one, we got two. Back to Turkey, that's what we do. Back-to-back, you know what I'm saying?" Anadolu Efes Istanbul guard Shane Larkin gleefully remarked after his team became Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion for the second year in a row.
Back in the 2017-18 season, however, the idea of Efes becoming back-to-back champs would have seemed like a fairytale. Current head coach Ergin Ataman arrived midway during that campaign, and since then the charismatic tactician has been able to take the team to unseen heights, with Efes never having won a European title prior to 2021. Now, the Turkish team is the back-to-back EuroLeague champion.
In "Back 2 Back", the latest work from the Euroleague Basketball Originals documentary team, you are able to join reigning champion Efes on its journey to the 2022 EuroLeague Final Four in Belgrade, Serbia. You are given an inside look at just how Efes secured its second straight European title, with insights from star players such as Larkin and Vasilije Micic, as well Coach Ataman and other key contributors to a historic accomplishment.

It was perfect for us,... İf efes gonna win all matches in this seasson and find a place for himself in f4... İt will be wonderful to watch a match between oly and efes again...anything amazing can happen...

Remembered that game when I was watching live, I thought that it was the hardest game for Efes. There was a great atmosphere in the arena, there were full of fanatic Greek supporters and Efes would literally play in away. In the last minutes of the game my fear reached the top level against the likely defeat but hallelujah Efes was managed to win the game with the super ball of Micic. Olympiacos had a good team in that time and still they have and keeping playing well in the general of the season in this year. I think their chance is much more higher in this season for the title. Good luck for our neighbour. Efes is so vulnerable and fragile as I follow in this season, somethings are going wrong but I hope they will find a solution to get rid of this blurred athmosphere and bring the trophy three times in a row. Can't wait for the next F4.

You bought the 18th team of the league, set up a team from scratch for cheap money and made that team the most expensive and best team in the league with your legendary game. Anadolu Efes has become the best team in history. You have brought a new understanding of the game to European basketball. Everyone started to form a team by taking Ataman's game plan as an example. Ok, let's not exaggerate. Efes is a very good team, excellent in fact, but the best in history? Let's not kiding. Panathinaikos 2007-2010 with Jasikevičius, Diamantidis, Spanoulis, Batiste, Peković... Maccabi 2003-2005 with Jasikevičius, Anthony Parker, Nikola Vujčić, Maceo Baston... Messina's CSKA with JR Holden, Trajan Langdon, Šiškauskas, Smodiš, Papaloukas, Khryapa... Or 1989-1991 Jugoplastika, the team that actually won a three-peat with Toni Kukoč, Dino Radja, Perasović, Zoran Savić... Ataman is a good coach, but don't make me laugh that he's the best in Europe. To be fair, he won 2 Euroleagues when Željko Obradović decided to go fishing, and the second season was even easier for him due to the expulsion of Itoudis's CSKA.
