Is the video still current? Have to now install off moddb, have to manually link the 3 extra installers on the 1.1.exe file (the first is fine to select steamapps>common>rtw). It does not give the correct location automatically on mine. maybe because i'm installing on an external drive. I also only want the mod for singleplayer campaign, any help appreciated? Legend of total war seems to only be using the 1.1 version on his current series too, what's up with that?

there is very few to download besides the mod which si about 700 mb in size the others are very small and they will downalod and install instantly. (those isnatllers just add soem txt file and thats it)

Hey Biscuits, if you have your copy of steam installed on a different drive, do you need to put those other 3 programs from 1.1 in the same drive or can you just install them somewhere else?

did you choose English unit names? If you choose Native units names ( which I reccomend) you still get the english correspondent.

What is the specific folder that Trivial Script needs to go in at 7:56? For some reason mine doesn't automatically go to the right folder and I have to do it manually.

If you look at the video he left it as Default and clicked next, you don't have to select a folder or file. Have you managed to sort it out yet?

Hey thankyou this is a great guide and I followed it but I've ran into a problem, when I launch the single player part I get this error " Can not enumerate files in directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold\EB\sp game edu backup\common' (error 3: the system cannot find the path specified.)" the game then still starts up shows sega, creative arts, video then comes to the loading screen and crashes at about 60% to desktop. Any help would be awesome

Hey it doesn't automatically put it in the total war folder when it asks me to install "Trivial Script" it just says trivial script. Do I need to put it in steam common manually?

Hi. So I installed EB 1.1 into my RTW file in my C drive, even though it recommended me to not install it into the C drive. Then, the EB trivial script asks me to extract it into a file. Should I extract it into my RTW files in the c drive? If I shouldnt, would I have to uninstall the game and do it all over again :(

I followed every step, EB runs, but I can't start a game, it crashes at the end of the loading screen. Custom battles, campaign... doesn't matter, it crashes. Any ideas on what could have went wrong or how to fix it? Much appreciated, good tutorial as well by the way.

I've been thinking about getting this mod. But I would like to know if it slows down the performance of rtw? My computer is pretty slow already, so I don't want to download something that could make lag worse in online MP games.

It won't lag the game, the start up page for eb is a few seconds slower, compared to the load up screen of rtw. rtw is not effected.

This shit don't work for me. I had no problems on my old computer but now that I've upgraded to a better computer I can't get the mod to run. Everything is installed correctly but when I click the EB single player.exe it just starts the vanilla game...I tried messing with launch options>-mod:eb , I tried messing with shortcuts, install fixes, delete folders, reinstall everything bla bla bla, nothing's working. I can play Vanilla Enhanced mod and other shit but EB just refuses to run. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

You launch it through steam as per normal. Your standard RTW icon will still be there.

Okay, also you know the game advisor in the corner of the screen. I noticed on EB 1 that no sound ever comes from it. Did you have the same issue. Is it just a glitch in the programming?

+Ratī Kāma Vrajavasī Rasa The advisor is used to activate the EB script. That means whenever you play campaign, make sure that the first thing you do is clicking on one of your buildings. That will pop-up the advisor saying to click the "show me" button to activate the script. Then he never bothers you anymore. The script activates all the mod content and prevent any hard crashes the game could get from the mode. So make sure whenever you start or load a campaign, press a building, press show me button, then play it normally.
