I'm a fan of Santana from way back and Europa is a signature tune for me. Never heard a cover I liked, but then I am biased in favour of the man I call The Maestro. The thing is that I know EG well from his days with 40F and I have learned that an acoustic cover of an electric track can work. And this cover works. It's just so different, so it stands on its own. No need to compare to the original. It's a piece of art on it's own merit. Well done EG !
