So you asked for the story of vila volta so I am here to deliver. It will be a very long message though. I will cut it in two sections. The first one is a plot summary the latter part is a translation of the two preshows. I am not a profesional translator so if some parts are a bit roth around the edges I apoligise. I am a huge fan of both the Efteling andthis write specifically an almost allways do it when I am in the park which is quite often due to me having a subscription to the park. Part 1: Plot summary: The story is based on the myth of the goat righters. In the myth they were a group of bandits who robbed houses and ins. They mostly did this in small vilages in limburg(a Dutch province) and the campen(which is in Belgium). One day they were searching for a place that would be a good target. That was when they came acros the abbey of Bostel. It was said that there was no sound an no humans to be found. The offerings on the alter were to much of a temptation for the Goatrighers. They enthered the church and stated to collect everything worth taking. Than out of nowhere Hugo the leader of the bandits feals a cold slender hand on his shoulder. When he looks back he sees a whome with eyes like fire. She tels him to leave and not defile gods house. He ignores this advice and leaves with his group taking everything. When he arives at his house he is shocked to find the women from the church on his roof. She is waving her hands like they are swinging in the wins(this actually happens by the way). He hears her voice telling him that he will never find piece now that he has defiled god's house. It won't matter where in the world he would be he would never find piece. Only if a person with a heard as pure as that of a newly born child would enter his house. Only than would the curse be broken and would he be able to find piece in his heart and soul. Part 2: Transcription: par2-1 preshow 1(narrator and viligars): narrator: In the middle ofthe 18th century waves of violence coursed through our Belgian campen and the Limburg country side. Groups of unscrupulous thugs, plundered and set arson to our peaceful lands. They called them selves the Goat righters to ghosts, who according to a medieval myth flew through the sky while righting goats. They could even enter secured houses. Marie: The goat righters all brood that is. They should get rit of them from the root, that they should. Jongepeer: Yeah agreed Marie, agreed. MaleVilager: I have heard that last night they burned down the stall of Arjen de stoer, and have taken everything worth of value. FemaleVilager: O yeah? That can't be true father! Marie: All brood that is! FemaleVilager: They say that there eyes glow in the dark. And that they are so fast that there victims are struck as if by lightning. Marie: All nonsense I say! Underhanded rabble that with low tricks and bribery make the pore people suffer. I would love to see them steal from the land lord than they be in for a rude awakening> Narator: the myth tells that this devils league of Goat righters cam to its and after a gruesome fight. High in the sky’s above the abey of Bostel. For sixty long years, the gang imposed a reign of terror on the flatlands' inhabitants. There satanic guild symbol a goat hoof filled everyone with dread and fear! *Lighning strike and the painting with the symbol is shown* Jongepeer: Curs them those Goat righters. The parasites of this land and Hugo in particular. Marie: Its a godless maniac that Hugo. With his long black beard can the deathel be excused. If he is nearby your right in fearing for you life> FemaleVilager: An than we don't even speak about locks on the in door> Marie: even the big bars on the village wall gate can't stop him. FemaleVilager: O lord who can free us from those fiends?! Jongepeer: A god defiling bandit that's for Shure. But remember pride comes before the fall. MaleVilager: Maybe JongePeer but as of right now he does not seem to care. Marie: As young one he was already on the wrong path. Always going against the authority. I already saw coming that he would go wrong in the future. Narrator: Hear now the tale of Hugo, Hugo van de Loondseduinen who joined this evilg guild of bandits. A man without any sympathy, driven by insatiable greed and lust for wealth. Hugo the Goat righter. Part 2-2 Preshow 2(Hugo's perspective): Hugo: This house this cursed house. Its like hell on earth. That one cursed evening in the Belgian camps. The sun hung low and we needed a bed for the night but no villages were inside. But than suddenly in the distance a big building. We knew it was the abbey of Bostel. We brought the horses in a gallop and when the sun was gone we arrived at the abbey. There was light behind the windows and it was dead quiet. No chants from monks or solemn murmuring. Behind the abbey door golden chalices and silver chandeliers right for the taking! Ha ha!! With those thoughts we rammed our way through the door. No one in sight. ON the alter the loot shimmered. The candles were lit... Strange. My man looted the offer block, and I emptied the alter. And then on my shoulder a slender hand. I turned my head and saw a young women, here eyes filled with fire. All men saw her and it became quiet. She seemed to float with her long whit gown and she spoke to me. vrouw goed’s/mis good(Hugo says this to while you hear her voice in the background): You Hugo van de loonse duinen. You are defiling this house. Now stop this at once and don’t call the thorn of god upon yourself. Hugo: But I overcame my fear. Lathing her away while doing so maniacally and pushing her away hard. I told my man to go, and saw her disappear in thin air. A day later I reached my home. I was shocked. On the roof she stood, the women from the abbey. Her hands waved as if flowing in the wind. I heard her voice as if floating in my head. Mis good(and Hugo): No where in your own home where ever in the world will you find rest or piece, now that you have defiled gods house. Only when a sinless person with the purity of that like a new born child enters your home. Only than you will find piece in your home and in your heart. Hugo: To this day my gruesome fait has not been broken. Enter with a pure soul. So that the doom falls from this house, and my soul can get the rest I have so long longed for. closing words: If you somehow got through this entire messages. Congratulations. I hope this transscription will make the story of the right more clear for those who can't speak Dutch. It was a lot of work to make this transscription. The Dutch version was filled with old Dutch which was hard to translate into English. I tried my best to make the most faithfull translation I could while making it also make sense in English. Europapark is the best Themeparc in Europe. Than Phantasialand, Disney Paris and Efteling. Imo.

I recently came back from Europapark, and it's a great park. It doesn't have the grandeur of the Efteling, not even close. Many parts of Europapark are not taking very well cared of. And theming is not that well done in Europapark. Only Voltron is kind of the Efteling standard but not even that good.

Your criticism of Europa Park is ridiculous. The park has twice as many attractions, brilliant theming, more and better roller coasters, much better food, six fantastic hotels and is simply more beautiful in terms of design. Eight times in a row the best theme park in the world, that's all you have to say! Efteling is a beautiful fairytale park for children and adults, without question, but the EP is one or even two notches higher.
