Much appreciated this. The scenery is still breathtaking. Haven’t traveled this stretch by train since the 1980s, but many summers was spent in Crna Gora. Although we usually travelled the area by car. The biggest problem for the railway line is probably the lack of revenue. Earlier there was quite a lot of import and export that moved thru the Bar harbour. Nowadays it is much less. Remembering when Zastava for an instance shipped cars from Kragujevac to Bar.

Beautiful video - congrats !!! I was lucky enough to travel the region in 2010: With the Lovcen overnight train from the old traditional Belgrade station beside the Sava river to Bar - thankfully to a proper delay the impressive valley section happened already with daylight. Spent a night in Sutomore. Then a bus ride towards Ploce and overnight via Sarajevo to Zagreb. As Interrailer - I spent another night on the trains by re-boarding the Lovcen until Pozega with a return on the service towards Subotica untill Novi Beograd. How things changed again in these few years ... Do you know, why the Bar trains don't travel from/to the new Beograd Centar station ? Though impressive is the new chinese-built section towards Novi-Sad (watched the video from Dulevoz). Not to compare to the veeery slow ride on the classic Zagreb-Sid-Beograd mainline - despite the modernized tracks there that time already. Hopefully the chinamen will also support the maintenance/renovation of the beautiful Tito-line towards the mediterranean sea ... with well maintained classic railway stock of course - fully opeanable windows oblige and maybe there will even be some pounds left for the similary spectacular Sarajevo-Ploce corridor ...

A few years ago I "rode" the headend of this line through a KZbin video by Dulevoz. At that time it seemed most of the signals on the line were not working. Watching your video I see your train passing at least two RED (stop) signals at speed. It looks like not much has changed since "Dulevoz" shot his video. While you might not have noticed that as a KZbin traveler I as a retired railroad/railway worker made me wonder just how safe that line is. Looking at the state of the signal system I'm surprised the catenary still works.

The works were supposed to start at the end of this year on the side of Serbia, the teams of "Serbian Railway Infrastructure" and the Russian company "RZD International" last year recorded and measured every kilometer of the railway using the latest data collection methods, such as 3D scanning and surveying with a geodetic drone, assessing the risks and opportunities for selecting the most efficient solutions and to determine its condition. But because of this situation, I don't know what will happen to the project and whether it will start when it is planned.
