30kg of hydrogen at today money is £300. What mileage do they get? Sure there is no co2 emissions but life cycle cost of busses and fuelling vs. Battery would be interesting

I wonder what the mileage of a "tankful" of these hydrogen buses are and how they are compared to conventional diesel buses?

Well, it depends upon the size of the tank: like gearboxes on rural buses and city buses are different, so the tank size can vary.... YOu do know that all cars don't have the same size of tanks ?

@@fauzirahman3285 'what I mean' is that more questions should be asked on MPG equivalent for these things: No one, NOBODY, can tell you the equivalent mpg for Electric cars. Those who make TV Docus fail miserably and then quickly brush over the facts. Take every opportunity on YOutube andany bloggs blethering nonsense about these things. Electric or (maybe) H2 are ok for certain applications: But how many ppl caan't even fill their ordinary vehiclesproperly: Did you Notice the EARTH cable being attached.... say no more !

Unfortunately they seem to be using dutch made buses rather than Scottish made ones. A bit of a kick in the teeth for Alexanders.

There now being replaced with Northern Irish built Wrightbuses

No UK Manufacturers had any Hydrogen buses developed back in 2014. They do now and as such the next batch of 20 double deckers are coming from Wright.
