@@bakaweiner6956 I can understand where the pragmatic and boring arguments come from with George Graham, and to be fair it also existed with his predecessor Don Howe when his squad were dubbed "Boring Arsenal". As a fan though I don't care whether the football is pretty or ugly I just care about whether the team won or lost. In short I've grown to admire George Graham's squad managing them with a 4-4-2 formation managing young, and hungry up-and-coming players in the mid-to-late 80s taking on a powerhouse club such as Liverpool and beating them also.

I can see why he sent Lehman off but no one would have complained with a yellow card and giving Barcelona the goal. With 11 v 11 Arsenal had a really good chance to win it. Even at 10 v 11 Henry had that one-on-one. Apparently one of the Barcelona players told Wenger that if that goal had gone in they would have given up at 2-0 to Arsenal.

In fairness they've had some poor luck in European finals, losing twice on penalties in 1980 and 2000, the freak Nayim goal in 1995 and the Lehmann early red card in 2006, could've easily won all those and had 6 European trophies to their name rather than 2 (If you include the Fairs Cup)

But I felt devastated that Nayim scored in such a way that Seaman looked like the dumbest person in the world twice. And Ronaldinho did it again to him. Really dumb!
