Indeed. The Welli is still used for Eisbären Juniors Regionalliga and Frauen Bundesliga hockey games. Still a great atmosphere with songs, drums, flags, etc. In old East Berlin, hockey is more than a sport, it is a way of life!

Don't know why it only really showed Djurgården and Skellefteå AIK for Swedish teams. None of the Stockholm clubs are in the SHL. SAIK is in the SHL, though and they're currently in 8th place. Frölunda HC (previously known as Frölunda Indians) also has great supporters and a great atmosphere at theri games. They even had Lillasyster (a hard rock band from Gothenburg) write one of their intro songs: Till Scandinavium.

@@orten896 Correctamundo. Hockey is the "Swedish national sport". And by far the most popular sport for the Swedes. But considering there are 2 million of "new Swedes" that has no interest in ice hockey, I can understand that the statistics become a bit misleading. So I wouldn't be surprised if football is actually ranked as the most popular sport in Sweden. But it's common fact that ice hockey is the main sport in Sweden, for the Swedes. And the same goes for Finland.

@@orten896 Vad pratar du om? Fotbollen har över 1,5 miljoner människor som är aktiva inom olika roller i svensk fotboll. Motsvarande siffra för hockeyn är 293k. Hockeyn är för övrigt slagna av friidrott, golf, gymnastik och innebandy. Därefter kan du ju bara kolla på publiksiffrorna i Allsvenskan kontra SHL. TV-siffrorna är också till fördel för fotbollen. Så återigen, vad pratar du om?

I am from Slovakia and where I live we have a hockey stadium with a capacity of 3500 seats. On average, about 1,500 fans go to a match, but the atmosphere what is here, the atmosphere of the NHL, where 15,000 to 17,000 people attend, cannot be compared to ours.You can't hear yourself here, but over there on the NHL you can hear a pin drop

Totally agree I don't know where are you from but Nitra has the best fans in Slovakia and also Poprad, Bystrica, Zvolen (I am from LM so we hadn't so much fans past years 😢)

I think the red shirts were for a special occasion. I don't know, because here in southern Sweden we hate Djurgården. And the yellow and black crap was from Swedens most violent club AIK. Their hooligan firm Firman Boys have connections to Hells Angels.

its two team that are playing at that arena in sweden its Djurgårdens IF and there is AIK but its more Djurgårdens home then AIK becuse AIK is from solna stockholm and Djurgården is from Djurgården Stockholm
