Thing is that European Hornets are less aggressive than the common wasp (the one everyone hates) they are actually quite calm also their sting is less painful and dangerous than wasps, these guys are also very cool since they not only kill tons of pests but also wasps and wasps are terrified of them, also they don't eat sugary stuff so they won't harass you just because you have something like a donut

My friend Reno found a baby squirrel while playing disc golf, and it wandered right up to him n followed for 9 holes until Reno gave up and just scooped him up n put him in his cargo pants pocket n finished the round of golf. He got everything he needed for it's nesting and food needs etc. and kept that squirrel until it died.... fat and happy, OF OLD AGE :) They're not for everyone, but squirrels can be amazing little companions.

@White Marlin This, unfortunately, is not limited to just rehabbed animals. Fully domesticated animals can react similarly and it's due in part that babies and young children don't know how to react to animals in a non-threatening and gentle manner, so sometimes the animal can react aggressively. It's not really the kids fault, they don't know better at that point and it's not necessarily the animals fault either, they will merely react to the situation. That's why it's important when you have kids and animals in the same house, you need to have the kids taught how to treat, understand and respect animals. Because even the most tame and sweet animal can react violently when threatened, or hurt. I mean, my sister has a husky. Sweetest dog ever, grew up around kids of all ages ever she had them. And when the grand babies were born, he would lick on them and cuddle with them all the time. Once they were old enough to walk and play, they would swat at him and be kind of rough with him. One day, they were running around and fell on him hard and he growled and nipped at them(didn't nip them, just at them as a warning). So, after this, we made sure to teach them how to be respectful and gentle with animals so this wouldn't be an issue or become a worse situation. I'm very sorry for their misfortune and loss and I hope they get through it.

I REALLY like how this guy emphasizes that not only will the opossums be released once they are grown... but that he is doing the responsible thing by resisting the temptatoon to handle them! :-) Opossums are uniquely unsuited to living in captivity (they will get really depressed, have a shorter life span, etc) and to survive on their own it is important that they naturally avoid humans. Awesome that someone got this right!

Humphrey is too darn cute. I rehabilitate squirrels and they are an absolute joy to have around and watch grow, and then go off to start their own new generation. Ive released many, but have had one that was just too used to being around humans as unfortunately i couldnt help myself and handled her too much towards the end. I had her for years and ended up building her own little "condo" next to the release cage where she gets to interact with the other squirrels and run around the yard with them. She ends up staying in the yard while the others eventually move into neighboring yards and trees. But just this year, a neighbors outdoor cat got to her in her home and drug her out to the middle of the yard and tried to run off with her. My dear husband ran after it and jumped the fence to get to Molly and the cat finally dropped her. My poor sweet girl ended up not making it thru the night. I havent had squirrels since, and wasnt sure if i would be able to take in any new orphans this year. But honestly, if i dont, thats less of a chance of them making it as most of them come from trees being cut down along with their nests and mother doesn't come back for them. Or there are a lot of people around here that trap and relocate squirrels that happen to have had babies etc. Anyway, im sorry about your sweet Angel. The new babies are adorable and

Awww getting to see the squirrel was awesome! I miss my 2 sons being that small. They are 6 and 13 now. I’m a new subscriber and I’m loving ur channel. I’m a single mom and and I thought I was pretty tuff. But mercy , I could not do what u do with bees. I run from one bee, wether a wasp or whatever. It’s awesome what u do. I see the pull up in background so u must be a daddy to more then squirrels and chickens.

He does mention early in the video as an aside that you might have missed, but they are phenomenal pest control. If you grow veg they are your best friend, particularly round brassicas as they pull the caterpillars off to eat and feed to their brood, but also blackfly and aphids.

First time viewer. Thumbs up and I subscribed. Love your rare gentle voice. Love the baby squirrel. I also love chickens like I love cats and dogs. Glad you were safe from that fall. I also fell from a ladder that one of the ladder legs broke. It was many years old. I heard it crack and threw the brand new chainsaw forward as I fell backwards. I think somebody liked me too.I sold the costly chainsaw for $20. lolyyy

Awe those possums are so cute . Like hornets people hate possums , skunks and raccoon’s however each one of these species plays an important role in keeping 🐛, slugs , 🐌 aphids and other troublesome pest in check . Oh people don’t care much either for squirrels especially after they have found their way into their attic or vehicle engine. Thank’s for the video .
