Thanks Francis, I enjoyed watching it. To me these were the last years of really diverse charts that featured a lot of cool and intelligent pop and rock songs. Even those Eurodance beats (Haddaway, Dr Alban, Culture Beat) that once annoyed me, now make me nostalgic ......"you know - time flies/ and the rebels one day they all go quiet /ain't no money, ain't nobody that can buy you peace of mind"

Europe's love for Roxette in general (but particularly in the 90's) was a sight to see. I dont think most people in America realize just how huge they were globally.

Quand le Rock (au sens large) était encore bien présent dans la musique mainstream (tant à la télé qu'à la radio)... "You Could Be Mine" était mon morceau fétiche en août/septembre 1991 ☺☺☺ Et le clip de Green Jelly était bien délirant, maintenant que j'y repense. Ensuite, le rap et la dance ont pris beaucoup trop de place dans les médias, ce qui a contribué à m'éloigner de la musique mainstream par la suite.
