Arras Station (Gare d'Arras) (France SNCF) on 21st November 1996
I visited the town of Arras in the Pas-de-Calais department of Northern France and spent a happy couple of hours there with my Son. In that period I captured on film several TGV services running between Paris gare du nord and Dunkerque and V.V. Also many other more local trains hauled by BB16500 Locomotives and 26000 Locomotives. A 67400 Diesel Locomotive and on station shunting duties was a Diesel class Y8400. A modern unit class Z92050 is seen on an arrival. Plenty of Passenger action and some freight is witnessed here.
I hope this series will appeal to the European enthusiast as well as the BR enthusiasts and again feel free to comment on any material or subscribe to the channel to help support it's growing popularity. It may not always be possible to answer every comment or question, especially if it is not in English, but every comment is read and greatly appreciated.

First time [1962] I was at Calais Maritime it was all STEAM! In fact most of the Region Nord was. I also invoked the "Old Pals Act" and got a footplate ride to Lille with a 141R. I don't know what the situation is now but then you had to have a permit to photograph anything railway -available from the the SNCF in Paris. Super video by the way.

Well in the 1990s pre "9-11" it was fairly easy going but after 2002 I noticed it had tightened up in France. Spain has always been a little tough and I had often been required to get a photo permit back in those days......Many thanks for the kind feedback and my sincere regards as always...Mark
