Absolutely beautiful footage. The good old days of SNCF. Many wonderful old classes of loco, and my favourite locos, the 26000 class sybics 🤩 which I have a few models of. All excellently filmed as usual. Can't wait to see more of these European videos. 👍👍

Flatirons, 1800s (shunting passenger trains to boot!), Caravelles... a wonderful slice of the then-everyday. Hello, thank you for this wonderful document! Aulnoye was at the time a very important station with significant freight traffic (just look at all the locomotives that passed through there), and strong regional, national and international passenger traffic. In addition to the Belgian locomotives 1802, 1803 and 1503 on which I had the chance to ride, I was able to see the familiar silhouette of a driver friend from the Aulnoye depot! Thank you again and we look forward to watching your precious films!

Great video. I never realised how busy Aulnoye was back then. Only a shadow of it's former self now. I really appreciate all these videos you have put up. I have loved the French railways for a long time and it was in the 90s I started getting into the French scene. Thanks for sharing.

I discovered this video by chance, looking for something else. My best trains are sleepers and classic compositions until 1994-95 especially of Italy, the golden age, and neighborings. Then a silver period until 2002 with firsts cuts, merging, less sections. I hope for a nice surprise from your videos and thank your for sharing.

Decent stuff,stayed in alsace,in July 95,2 weeks ,place called selestat on the strasbourg-mulhouse-basel mainline,pretty busy freightwise,hourly strasbourg-basel sbb passenger service,also euro city services from brussels-chur,zurich hb,milano centrale,(Vauban,Iris,Edelweiss ),hauled by sncf cl 15000,strasbourg aslo a good place,dB cl181 electrics arriving from Germany on local db regio services from offenburg & euro city diagrams from Austria, EC64/63 "Mozart",vienna /klagenfurt /Graz-Paris Est,and those flatiron centre cab electrics,normally on heavy steal trains from thionville,being on the border with Germany, place called emmendingen,north of freiburg am breisgau,busy mainline from basel sbb-karlsruhr corridor,db103/111/140/139/143 ex dr,151/150/ice units,and euro city expresses from italy/Switzerland, with db103's on .
