Anneka, you are living my dream! It makes me so happy to see such a strong support community trying to bring wolves back to the ecosystem. In Florida, we are seeing the effects of losing so many red wolves, like the resurgance of Lyme disease from uncontrolled deer population and the encroachment of coyotes into urban environments. We need the wolves and they need us

Leo&marius Shame it is. Seems like our country is ruled by sosiopaths. The traditional farmer ruling tyrannical our beautiful nature. Politicians and media seems like born and bred on farms in the contryside. The lawmakers is in it too. The majority are kind of helpless to the atrocities. It is extreme cruel and shameful yes indeed.

🐺✨Anneka, I love you. Not just because you have a passion for the wolves, but because you have a passion for all of God's creations. I've been inlove with wolves since I can remember. I look at wolves, not just for their beauty, but also as a great example for the African American race, no matter the imprisonment, the torture, the killings, we as a people through all that, manage to survive, THANK GOD!! Now I look at the wolves who are treated the same way and I'm horrified, the cruelty our wolves are going through is evil. Man is the most dangerous creation on this earth, what ever they can't control they kill, what ever they want out of their way they kill, to prosper by taking Acres and Acres of woodland, whatever lives there they kill. Every day we're getting closer and closer to losing Red Wolves, Ethiopian Wolves, Mexican Gray Wolves, these wolves won't be around in the next 20 years. Drastic measures must be taken. I pray that God, shows me a way where I can help, and I always continue to pray for people like you who are on the frontline. Continue your fantastic work, my prayers are with you always🙏✨Reverend Raymond ✨😇

Yes but so many french people are against it (I'm french ) (It's an old war with the farmers and hunters that wants to kill them vs all of us who know how important they are for the ecosystem)

@@horselover7744 Yet the governement is doing close to nothing to help these animals. I know how my country works after living in it for my whole life. I know there is a majority of people against it, but nothing changed in the last thirty years. I think it's going to be a lost cause in France.

I am glad that these type of events to support wolves are taking place, I know it's pretty tuff for them to get people to understand that wolves mean alot in this world and play a big part in the environment. but not only that, we wolf supporters play a big part in the environment as well so it's our job to get more people to support wolves and educate more people who have no knowledge in wolves to understand their purpose of being alive we cannot let those who show no support at all win. *We will not go down without a fight*

The support for wolves is getting better, thankfully there are programs like this one to educate and raise money for wolf conservation.!the wolves in your video are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen, hopefully with local and international support there may be a chance for reintroduction to the wild?
@cathleengilliland16947 жыл бұрын
David Ford conservation efforts also allow them to hunt freely. Without them hunting naturally for deer, elk, etc over breed causing in balance in the Eco system. Most people are afraid but wolves prefer to give humans and livestock a wide berth. It is our intrusive need to take the land away from them and other wildlife something we need to correct.

I am norwegian, and I can promise you that there are so many protests against hunting wolves. So don`t say shame on them (as a whole nation), say shame on the politicians who are for it. Sadly, it is now getting legal to hunt wolves.
@eezeegeezaa7 жыл бұрын
If the farmers and land owners feel threatened by the wolf, to excuse the mindless killing of these beautiful creatures are lacking in education. All they need is a small pack of a livestock guardian breed and this should be more than enough to deter a visit from a wolf without having to sabotage their existence. I understand the wolf population maybe condensed in parts but this is genocide in my books. A soul is a soul. We have forgotten how to reside with nature

That is absolutely not true. The population of wolfs in Poland is gradually increasing since 1995 and in 2015 in Poland were 1484 wolfs. They are protected species, and compensation is paid for livestock losses.

I'd say there is some misconceptions regarding the Norwegian opinion on wolves. The people who live in densely populated areas are almost all unilaterally supportive of letting the population grow. Those who live in rural areas where the wolves are spotted feel threatened and do wish to hunt them (despite data stating the number of livestock attacked by wolves has gone down the last 10 years). Furthermore wolf hunting in Norway is highly regulated, punishable by steep fines or even imprisonment if hunted illegally, so they aren't killed willy nilly. I think why people are so afraid of them are because of a combination deep seated ancestral fear, I mean for hundreds of years wolves were almost always painted negatively in folklore, and because the wolves are almost all concentrated in South East Norway bordering Sweden which also happen to be one of the few farmable lands in this country. There is no debate regarding the culling of bears in Norway despite the numbers being similar is because they are far more spread thus bear sightings are extremely rare. I am against the hunting of wolves myself but I can understand why they're worried.

There is literally like 1 wolf in the Netherlands that has settled and people INSTANTLY started fearmongering about how they MIGHT "attack children". And when literally 1 sheep was killed they instantly started talking about having to kill them. Hopefully they'll find alternatives, keeping dogs seems to help quite a bit.

I met a few Iberian Wolves in the Serra Of Malcata in Portugal. Iberian Wolves are endangered and is sited in mainly Northern Portugal and Northern Spain.
