Dont sleep on romania. I understand why you would think this of romania but they did face a really inform colombia and had a result of 3:2, which since the start of 2023 only 3 other country's has done, no other country scoring more than 2 against colombia since 2020. Since the start of 2023 ,Germany, Brazil, and the USA all failed to score, not scoring a single goal. so romania had a better performance than than Germany and brazil against colombia in the last year. Romania obviously went undefeated in their qualifying group, but also, since the start of 2022, out of the 22 games they played during that time ,they only lost 6 games. They scream of dark horse. BTW I'm not romanian. I'm mexican.

I followed this Romania team, and tbh, just getting a win at the Euros would be a miracle! 1 win in the entire history. But if there's a team that could be a surprise package that no mainstream media or any popular KZbinr speaks on, Romania would be a good shout. If Romania can win against either Ukraine or Belgium, then that would be a shock of the tournament. Just have to see how it goes... hopefully the Liechtenstein game on Friday just helps us boost our shooting confidence...

This group is more interesting than many may think. Whilst a supercomputer gives Belgium such an overwhelming percentage to finish first, it's incredible how open 2nd place is for Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine. I genuinely believe 3 points might be enough to finish 2nd as those 3 may trade heavy blows and goal difference will narrowly decide things. It could be a case of who can keep the score down the best against Belgium? Based on the fact Romania seem more solid defensively than the other two, I will narrowly tip them to finish 2nd. Ukraine 3rd, but I doubt that will take them through.

As a Belgian, Ukraine is my dark horse. They might even top this group. Technically gifted players with a team spirit who'll want to prove themselves. Our defense is indeed simply too weak, too slow. Quarter finals max or probably even just round of 16. Old Meunier plays in Turkey and old Carrasco even plays in Saudi league. I expect Vertonghen and Faes to tackle the man and not the ball, penalty, red. I'm quite pessimistic. Not called up: Lavia (even if doctors said he should be back in time) could have gained some experience in the friendly's, De Winter, Saelemaekers... We have some good wingers but against the big teams it won't be enough. Transition phase. At least I'm glad Tedesco left out troublemaker Courtois. I do have more faith in Tedesco than in Roberto Martinez for sure. And it's true, now that expectations are lower, we can play free-flowing football and just enjoy it again. Conclusion: we will score some bangers, but we'll make too many mistakes in order to have a deep run. Good video!

I'm Romanian and I was excited about the Euros. Now I'm not anymore, after the 2 recent home friendly matches. We drew with Liechtenstein 0-0, İt's a first time in history. We would always win with them by at least 3 goal difference. We will finish 4th or 3rd at best (sadly). I hope I'm wrong.

In Romania this sport is a disaster, I live in Bucharest and we don't have a hockey arena. I wonder how many there are in Bratislava or Kosice. and now I come to the topic. Slovan Bratislava played for a while in the KHL. The best teams from Russia and the team from Helsinki came to your country. @@robertmarinescu-zo6ib I absolutely love hockey as most of Slovaks do, it's our sport #1. We have hockey arenas in every big city and in smaller ones as well. In total we have around 60 arenas and some of them have multiple ice rinks. In Bratislava we have one big called Aréna Ondreja Nepelu which has 3 ice rinks, then Štadión Vladimíra Dzurillu which has 2 ice rinks and then 3 smaller arenas located around the city. In Košice there are I think 3 arenas and the rest is all around Slovakia. I believe our Patrik Polc is representing Romania now in Ice hockey while representing also Slovakia in streetball hockey, which I found very interesting. Only Tatar is active now from those you mentioned, we have new players now: Slafkovský, Nemec, Pospíšil, Regenda, Koch, Dvorský, Hrivík, Cehlárik, Mešár and many more. The future is bright and I hope in few years we will be able to bring some medals home. Frankly I hate Slovan Bratislava, I'm a Košice fan so didn't really pay attention to their KHL stint.😅

Are we? Put in a group with Italy and England, pushed through play offs, played draws against England, Italy, Germany. We have Dovbyk, Tsugankov, Zinchenko, Trubin, Lunin, Zabarnyi, Mykolenko, Matvienko, in shape Svatok, Sydorchuk bout to be bought to Liverpool along with Zabarnyi. Dovbyk just won La liga top scorer bagging 24 goals. And should I forget the speed of Mudryk on how fast and how much he can do. Sooo we are not weak just need to be stronger mentally

@walczyc9572 Yes, without a doubt, Ukraine have better players than romania and Slovakia, but as a team I feel like they dont gel well together as a team to the best of their potential and at times aren't horrible but become a beatable team. Its possible that they get it together as a team , but seeing their performances against bosnia and Iceland, who are weak teams and barely winning to qualify makes me think they are weak as a team. i say at most they qualify through 3rd I my opinion

@@Chap21n Yeah but i think Slovakia and especially Romania have not much to stand against them. So i give Walczyc the Point, because behind Belgium Ukraine is the best Team in this Group by far. Especially in matter of Offensive Creation. of Corse Slovakia has a solid Defense ( If Skriniar stays fit) but their is truely awful in Offensive. In the Games they were Favorites they struggled a lot to create Chances against low Block defending Teams. So i think Ukraine will make Buisness with Slovakia and Romania. Not like destroying them. But comfortable controlled wins like 2:0 or 3:1, something like that.

Theres plenty of context for 2016 Romania, we lost to France just because of a goal given to France that was a foul and Switzerland scoring some banger against us, the loss against albania is not really explainable, everyone around the team really wants to do better this year and even our federation said during the qualifiers that if we manage to qualify we’ll do a lot better than in 2016.
