@@lindahhh there’s no way around the fact that there are hundreds of untested Chinese athletes, even after it was discovered that there were multiple Chinese athletes doped in the last olympics. @vincent7223 3 ай бұрын
@@jonasb6440or ur just xenophobic. Doping is a huge problem in other sports like swimming or cycling not tennis. If u watched zhengs previous series vs Kerber it becomes quite obvious that Zheng doesn’t have „unlimited energy“ and was just as tired as any other player. The reason swiatek lost was just that she had 16 errors more than her opponent. Don’t accuse other people of things u have 0 clue about. (Every single person who is knowledgeable about tennis knows that she wasn’t doped)
@jonasb6440

@@vincent7223 she literally wasn’t getting tired. Obviously doping doesn’t have the same effect in tennis as in sports like swimming or cycling, but it can obviously give u an unfair advantage. Btw if ur not as tired u make less mistakes naturally…and it was proven that many Chinese athletes were doped in the last olympics and that they weren’t tested this time so I don’t think it’s an unfair thing to assume that there could be doping involved

If you have never watched tennis and don't know who was playing who, you would have thought that Zheng was the seasoned champion and Iga was the young player trying to break through in her biggest match against much more established talent. Zheng was calm, strong and accurate throughout the match. Iga took a lot of chances and made more unforced errors. That said, Zheng controlled most of the points either with her serve or just her better ground strokes. She was the better player on this day.

This just proves how great Kerber was playing when facing Zheng. She was able to neutralize Zhengs powerful strokes and forcing a lot of errors from zhengs racket. That form me was THE match of the Olympics this year. An absolute nailbiter.

Basically all the favourites lost at these Olympics. But Iga still has a chance for bronze medal. And she will also have a chance at the next two Olympic games.

Not seeing Iga in the final here on clay (as she is so full of her every time) is a great news! Good job Zheng! Congrats!

Congrats Zheng for today's n yesterday's game. I m a fan of Iga but you could see it wasn't her day after that awful n absolutely lack of respect or sportsmanship from Collins. Iga today was very distracted, Zheng played very accurate.

She produces her best when her country's glory is on the line. Qinwen has never won to Iga 6 times Iga just won Rolland Garros a few weeks before.

Très belle performance de Qinwen Zheng et malheureusement Iga Swiatek avait déjà mentalement perdu la partie avant même que le match ne commence
