To all those who say that dope is in cycling more than ever... how come that no one (not even pogi) can come close to records set 30/40/50 years ago while they have lowers bikes, power meters.... meanwhile wada is in charge of doping and not uci itself, that dope is much easier to find and it is 99% accurate, and there are more on pogi's level... he just has to come later on. 1) Because he’s 25 2) cycling has progressed substantially across the board and therefore differences are incremental and margins are fine. 3) half the cyclists back then were off their head on meth and coke. 4) money. Where money is involved, it’s a race to zero. All teams (more or less) end up being different versions of the same thing, and therefore again, you’ll rarely get that sort of dominance even for one season, let alone season after season like you’re referring to. This is a very weak field here. The main contenders are all past their prime. TP hasn’t looked like he is even attacking the last two stages and just rides away from these guys. TDF comp is many levels higher. Though can’t believe JV will have the form needed to win this year if he rides. PR couldn’t beat TP 4 years ago so how does he beat him now. Remco probably has the best chance but he isn’t as consistent over three weeks.

A few things from today's stage . . . *VF-BARDIANI is doing quite well. I'm very impressed!! *UAE was pretty much blown apart early in the past 2 stages. They do come back together slightly but for the most part this confirms my belief that it's not a very strong TEAM. Pogi is strong but NOT the team as a whole *What was DSM doing?! No e of could figure it out. I don't even know if DSM knew what they were doing😂 Got dropped, then caught up with a pretty decisive drive back to the peloton and then stopped working😳 then they let a small break get away and all that other really confusing things they did/didn't do🤔🤔🤔 *D Martinez was on his own very early on and then on the last climb he made a short and weak offensive move only to get Pogi to react and as Pogi caught him Pogi just figured, "Hell, why not?! Don't mind if I do!!" and went on a pretty respectful and slow mini attack😂 🤘🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

At tour, wva and vingegaard are coming. To win, pogacar will attack from day 1 for time, b f they get their race legs back, which won’t happen for 7-10 days. P needs approx 3 min on v, b c at stages 14 and 15, v will get approx 3 min on p V at tour is better than p at Climbing Climbing in heat Descending Tt If p crashes in tour on descent will v wait this year? And vice versa? It seems that each wd wait for the other, that’s their character. Good I say But that waiting takes an advantage away from v, the better descender. So it’s not really fair to neutralize a talent one has over the other. Fir tiur will be x close this year. V or p win by less than 45 sec. This tour cd be won or lost on a descent. But w waiting if crash, no not won there after all Is v the better descender now? After such a massive crash and such pain for many weeks? Fatherhood also slows down a descender. But usually it takes 2-4 big crashes for fear to settle in, v has had one such Tour will be great race. V injury makes things approx equal Ineos thrashed here at giro will have it even worse at tour, for here it’s only p they can’t compete w, at tour they can’t compete w wva nor mvp nor roglic nor Remco nor v nor of course w pogacar. Yet Ineos still has biggest budget in the sport, and i s getting knocked down, day after day. Let’s see if Bernal can come back….I think not but who knows, perhaps

Your theory only works if both Vingegaard and VWA will be at 100% otherwise they will get smoked by Pogi in week 1

@@mariusmanoiu2228 in correct. at tour vingegaard is approx 3 min faster than p, if uninjured. now injured. 1 st stage v hard, 7 stage tt. v has legs approx stage 10. if v stays within 3 min going into big stages 14 and 15, he wins can win tour there, and on stage 21. plus w pressure on, p can crash on descent. v is the better descender. crash possible stage 21 is the two start 21 within 25 sec of each other. v injury makes tour 24 x close race.
