Eurostars Passing through the North Downs Tunnel. From Bridge 750

A few hours worth of Eurostars Passing the North Downs Tunnel country portal. linespeed here is 300kmph, and even the eurostars that have paused at Ebbsfleet are more or less doin this speed.

Thanks for that gtwftw2 i'm guessing this clip is on the new high speed link between Kent and London St Pancras but when i first saw it i thought it was on the Calais end of the channel tunnel.

There is at one point in between London tunnels 1 and 2 is the new Stratford international building site and also as you approach St Pancras is a connection to the North London Line too

If only that was possible on the SD version but through most of it i try and take no notice of it it's amazing how St pancras has transformed with the intruduction of Eurostar sets that and the new HS1 route it's like how Stratford Changed when the extended Jubilee line was opened and even more so in the run up to the olympics in 2012 but i won't be in London for that but in about six months i will be but only for a holiday and only for about a month at most

Thanks for that HSTsteven but if your wondering how i know all of what i said i have a copy of Eurostar Driver's eye view from Brussels Midi to London St Pancras and from what i've seen of it it's bloody brilliant i thoroughly Recommend it it can be found on the Video125 website though i bought mine from it's Australian retailer called Train Pictures.

I thought trains in the Channel tunnel were restricted to 100mph unless they're allowed to speed up as they get closer to the end
